Week 8 of Freemon and Moxy in Arack
ARBIL, Mar 24 (IPS) - Close to two months after the announcement of election results, Shia and Kurd leaders say an agreement over the formation of a new government is imminent.

The article goes on to enumerate all the concessions related to Kurdish autonomy that are supposedly being agreed to. Not much is said at all regarding what the shiites have gotten in exchange. Of course there is no evidence that the deadlock has actually been resolved either.

My guess is that the Kurds will allow the islamic state of shia-land in exchange for at least de facto autonomy in the north, including control of kirkuk and at least partial control over the northern oil fields. The rest of the country - outside of the killing field of the 'sunni triangle' will be an Iranian-lite shia theocracy.

See the picture http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/050324/481/bag10203241148of of the baghdad Iraqi security forces proudly displaying a picture of al-Sadr. Who's laughing now?

Our on-the-job training of our army for the Iranian invasion and occupation will continue. No wait, the sunnis will all give up and agree to live under a shiite theocracy. My bad.

Good Job **! Keep wagging those blue fingers.
