That ad is excellent, powerful, and hard hitting. It is far superior to ANY ad produced by the Kerry campaign or the Democratic Party during the entire 2004 election cycle.
The only thing that came close - and it was not that close - was "The Ostrich and The Eagle" ad, which was pretty good, and was also well timed in response to the B/C "Wolf" ad.
But my point is that the Dems need to hire some real big guns for producing powerful, clear, ads that make progressive points in both the script AND contain effective emotional images to import deep gut level assimilation of the words in the script. This is EXACTLY what the AARP SS ad does, and it does it very well.*****
