I Jeb does kidnap Terri
Edited on Fri Mar-25-05 01:13 PM by iceman_419
we should move imediaylt to get him impeached. It would be an absolute abuse of power and we can ruin him politically. Jeb wants to run in '08 probably. so I don't think he'll do it. But we need to make sure that we have him by the balls

2. Jeb will do nothing more and use the law as a rationale
That will piss off a number of those fundies clamoring for Terri's tube to be replaced. They don't give a rat's ass about the law and think separation of church and state is a lousy idea.

I can sympathize with the point of view of those who think the tube should be replaced, but I don't agree with them. In any event, the decision should be up to Mr. Shiavo, who has made his wishes known. Even if I agreed with them about this case, I would still hold that narrow religious dogma is a dreadful basis for public policy in a pluralistic society. For that reason, if I couldn't convince Mr. Shiavo, I'd let the matter rest.

3. First arrested! Impeachment can come later!
I think Jeb knows if he disregards a court order, or the law, he WILL be arrested, that's why he's been on several interviews saying my capabilities are limited, and I won't go beyond them.

The last one I saw he was blaming it on the media for not passing he position on to the public.

Jeb is not stupid. He's not going to do anything that will get him in legal trouble.

5. Jeb could be held in contempt of court and prosecuted for kidnapping in
addition to being impeached.

If he's brain dead enough to kidnap Schiavo, then maybe he should be force-fed in a nursing home through tubes.

4. Jeb and the rest of the Repofascists
all of the Reichwingers want Terri Schiavo to die.
They absolutely need her dead and want her dead. Then they can "wave the bloody shirt". After making the maximum stink before her body dies, they can then make a maximum stink afterwards, blaming Democrats and "liberal activist judges" for killing her.

They know damn well the Schindler's have no legal case, and that they were going to lose. They're counting on it. But they need obscene "drama" like this to whip up their base's persecution complexes.

6. A question about the Florida constitution and AG
1. If Jeb (more likely his minions) does force his way in to the hospice and kidnap TS or break the court order, is he subject to immediate arrest or would he, as a constitutional officer, first need to be removed from office by impeachment and convition?

2. Who is the Florida AG and would he/she have the inclination and gonads to arrest him?
