Blackwell: Ohio's decline "on our Republican watch."
Edited on Fri Mar-25-05 03:43 PM by SteveIrving1
You will never believe it but the evil bastard admitted that republicans might be the cause of Ohio's problems.

Today's Columbus Dispatch had a nice article on the Lincoln Day dinner travels around the state of Ohio of J. Kenneth Blackwell, Jim Petro and Betty Montgomery. (For information on when your county Democratic party is having a spring fund raising dinner, check out calendar of events)

Here is my favorite part of the article:

Like Montgomery and Petro in their Lincoln dinner speeches, Blackwell suggested that Ohio "is a mess" - saying that it leads the nation in the number of people ages 25 to 39 leaving the state. But unlike his GOP challengers, Blackwell noted that the decline has continued "on our Republican watch." Though he has held statewide office since 1994, Blackwell positioned himself as an outsider.

Blackwell is also fond of saying that at any given 24 hour period, 250 Ohioans, on average, become Florida residents.

J. Kenneth the first Ohio Republican to link Ohio's economic woes with twelve years of one-party rule? It sure seems like it.

4. left 21, returned 29, leaving as soon as I can.
This state stinks, I loved living in Denver even with their right leaning sides there.

At least Colorado doesn't shut down at 10 PM.

pray Blackwell doesn't switch back to the Democratic Party.
