Wonder if fundies are concerned about Bush's record of being AWOL now?
Edited on Fri Mar-25-05 05:38 PM by blm
They have to know by now that Bush doesn't follow through on anything that he thinks might hurt him.

Same with his brother.

They talk a big game for show but will refuse to face accountability for any of those words in the long run. That's why they depend on "fixers" to smooth things for them all their lives.

Those of us who have read his life history correctly expect him to be AWOL on any issue that can't be spun for him.

The poor fundies are just now getting to know the real George Bush. The craven political operative. AWOL Bush.

2. I seriously doubt they will connect Bush's failure to show
up in Alabama in 1972 with his failure to prolong-the-life/prolong-the-death of Terri Schiavo.

5. And that's EXACTLY why I posted it, my friend.
Patterns of behavior can become difficult to ignore.

I intend to help that along.

3. I'm hoping since they're good and pissed over this one issue
that they might take a second look at others...especially the war and the "election" issue.

4. if they turn away from *, it has to be emotional
Just the facts won't do it, because they've been turning a blind eye to those since he started his first term. It has to be some sort of anger or disgust with * and his basic character traits. It just might happen that he and the repubs in Congress have gone too far for some loyal followers. Hope so.

10. Certainly has opened some eyes of real conservatives.

And even if only a small percent of the fundies wake up over the sheer cravenness of the politics attached to this issue, it will make a big difference in the long run, because a number of them align with Democrats on working class issues and workers' rights to a fair paycheck, affordable healthcare, and support for the elderly and poor.

6. * could screw sheep on the White House lawn in front of shoolkids and ....
...... the born again idiots will ask why that ewe attacked *'s penis w/
her backside. All he would have to say is, "I love Jesus." and they would,
weep, pray, vote, and give money to him and his gang of crooks.

9. LOLOLOLOLOL..........
That's exactly what Scott McClellan would say to spin it. No doubt. Fortunately, the numbers of those who believe every word seems to be dropping.

11. I don't expect them to do it en masse. Just enough numbers to make
a difference....those who were never comfortable with Bush's cuts in funding programs for the poor and elderly.

13. Indeed, it should be obvious to anyone with normal facilities
of mind, that this man is indeed a coward and has been since he was born and raised by an ignorant and crass mother, to believe he was entitled no matter what he did that was wrong. He has always been a sniveling coward that bloviates and bullies in an attempt to cover up his cowardice.

I think the AWOL thing should be brought up again.
