Why Do They Hate America?

As we watch the Schiavo case spiral even further out of control, in what seem to be the final hours of this poor woman's life, it is high time we all that question, of these crazed fanatics who seem hellbent on using this as a tool to foment a Civil War.

For years now, the Orwellian Machinations that control what passes for government and media in this country have been proclaiming that a group of crazed fundamentalists wants to destroy us all, because "They Hate Us For Our Freedoms."

And you know what?

I agree with them.

The Extreme Religious Fundamentalist Fanatics of this country, by their actions in this personal, private, family matter, have confirmed in my mind what the Fuhrer has been saying all along.

These people DO hate America. They DO hate freedom. They DO hate the rule of law, and due process. The DO hate equality and diversity. They DO hate tolerance, reason, and understanding.

They DO hate us for our freedom.

They want everyone to live and think the exact same way that they do. They want to transform this country into a sick and twisted version of THEIR interpreted beliefs and philosophies. They are putting themselves on display and putting everyone else on notice.

And from the looks of things, these people are ready for a showdown.

As an agnostic, my faith and belief do not lie in the Christian God per say, although I do believe in a "Higher Power" that connects us all, and that when we die, we do not end, but simply move on to another form of consciousness that lies beyond the physical.

But being born into a Christian Family in the heart of the Bible belt, I respect the faith and they beauty of what Christianity teaches, and I think the message of Christ is something beautiful, and perhaps if we could incorporate some of his teachings into our lives and they way we relate to people, we would all benefit, for there is much good to be found.

Which brings me to my point about these vipers we are faced with now. What is so ironic about this fringe minority of the "Christian" community, is that in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM should they be referred to as Christians. Their narrow, twisted view of the world and how things should be is COMPLETELY contradictory to the Christian Doctrine. these people aren't Christians. They use Christianity as their own personal tool to whore for their own agenda. It is the mask they wear to hide their true intentions. What they want has nothing to do with true Christian Beliefs. The last time I checked the God my Christian friends believed in was not based in hate, violence, intolerance, racism, exclusivity, and the belief in the sanctity of life only before birth, and as we see here, at the edge of death.

"You're Either With Us, Or Against Us."

Sounds familiar doesn't it?

I know that many are weary of this saga, and they are right to be. There are so many other matters that are more pressing, and beg our attention. The deteriorating situation in Iraq is just but one facet of a continually devolving and disintegrating Global Landscape that continues to spiral out of control. This should NOT in any way be the chief focus of our attention right now.

but like it or not, it has become perhaps one of the biggest turning points in our country's history, and unfortunately, for better or for worse, we must confront it head on. Why? Because of it's urgent relevance in the shape of the bigger picture?

No.

Because the frothing-at-the-mouth, mouth breathing, hate spewing, blood drinking, fanatical nuts who have made this their crusade are FORCING it to be so. This is their moment. They have been waiting for a very long time for an excuse to unleash themselves and their wrath upon this country, and this may be the spark that lights the final fuse to confrontation.

Many have speculated what will happen after Terri Schiavo passes on. While I think most of us hope that it is quite uneventful, it is becoming unceasingly worrisome that this COULD be the beginning of a foundation for a greater and hotter Civil War.

There are different interpretations as to what such an eventuality would mean. Some say it is the last thing we need, others argue that perhaps this is EXACTLY what is needed to Finally resolve things with these troubled people.

But whatever the outcome, I think it is time for ALL of us to accept the reality of this particular picture.

These people are becoming increasingly unhinged, increasingly bold and increasingly enabled. The sad irony of their empowerment and enabling, is that is coming from this monstrous Nazi Generation 2.0 government and leadership that is using them as a means to an end for an agenda that suits THEIR interests. In other words, Bush and his gang don't give a DAMN about these people or what they want. They are a political tool to be used in THEIR Greater Scheme. In the end, if this were 1940's Germany, THEY would end up in the Boxcars along with the rest of us when they were no longer useful.

To get back to the point, a percentage of these people have been planning and desperately aching for confrontation for some time. Perhaps decades. They now feel the time is approaching to let the Dragon Out Of The Cave. Whatever your opinion of them may be, understand that in this emboldened state, these people have decided that there will be NO compromise, NO plurality. They have decided they CANNOT and WILL NOT co-exist with those who will not fall into their line of thinking and living.

They're Crazy As Hell, And They're Not Going To Live Among Us Anymore.

Being of herd mentality and group think, they can be mobilized as one, and they have been doing so with uneasy success. They feel like they are beginning to have enough influence and power to finally foment a confrontation.

Perhaps a hot Civil War with these people is the LAST thing this country needs right now, but do not doubt this. The Schiavo situation is a NO WIN situation for all of us.

I believe that this has perhaps pushed these people past the point of no return. There may not be a confrontation this time, but now that things have been pushed this far, more than likely we are GOING TO HAVE TO CONFRONT THESE PEOPLE. Sooner or later, it matters not. Things are going to come to a head.

And if that is to be, so be it. But I say, let THEM be the ones to initiate it. Let THEM bear the stains of first blood on THEIR hands. Let THEM sow the seeds of their own eventual and inevitable destruction which will follow. Because if they go there, it is guaranteed.

Let us all hope it never comes to pass. That somehow this can be avoided. But if it cannot be, let it be something they start, but can be finished by saner beings, and they can finally be regulated to the dustbin of irrelevance where they belong.

Whatever the case may be, SOMETHING has GOT to GIVE.

This country CANNOT GO ON LIKE THIS.

We have much more pressing matters to get back to.

Since we denied them so far the right to call this country officially a "Christian Nation", absolute power is still denied to them. I do not get why they need their faith to be made official, sanctioned, by some amendment to the Constitution. There seems to be a great amount of insecurity.

In this country we are to be accepting of differences and tolerant of our seperation of religion and political values, but a few extreme right wing individuals want the rest of us to lose our heritance given to us from our fore-fathers. The seperation of parties and balancing checks/controls they put into place to insure our freedoms for generations to come. I hope many on the right side come to realize what they are attempting to steal from us and soon so that rightfully move away from these extremists.

There was a group protesting on the local courthouse steps last Sunday to "bring prayer back to our schools" and the 10 commandments in our courthouses.

They get bigger and louder every day.

If you're in Ca or New England, it might not be such a big deal, but wait until the ethnic cleansing starts out here in jesusland.

....have finally shown their true colors. The Schiavo case is the tip of the iceberg for these sick twists who are praying, praying, for the end of humanity.

We should send all of them to Afghanistan so they can co-mingle with their like-minded brethen, the Taliban. Either that or encourage them to stick one of their large bore handguns in their mouth and pull the trigger. Afterall, Jayzus has forgiven all their sins so doing a Jonestown won't upset their chances to do a meet-and-greet with their God. (But they should be prepared for the real God's mighty sense of humor).

My favorite thing to come out of the Schiavo case is the Republican talk about how Democrats embrace a "culture of death". LOL. Strangely, the left opposes the death penalty, opposes wars more often than not, supports famine relief, etc...
