Tom Delay on Nightline last night, is he being eased out the door

by the repugs? Did they let him get out front in the Schiavo matter to be cut off at the knees? One can only hope!

There were extra constitutional machinations from George and Jebbie, but compared to Bugman, they looked positively restrained in their behavior.

Delay on the other hand was out there making the most outrageous and demonstrably false claims of the bunch.

I have a feeling that Delay's limb is about to get sawed off.

6. I think the show made the point

that he has so much power, & Repubs are afraid of him.

He has sidelined anyone who chose to oppose him.

But with too much power comes arrogance, & in his case ethical problems. Let's hope his own actions take him down.

7. ABC trying must have gotten some heat.............

for that Nightline piece on Hot Tub Tom.

I saw ABC Nightly News Blatantly Lie tonight (03/25/05). First they said that tape that was secretly taken of Hot Tub Tom last Friday was at a Press Conference, which is a Lie, no press were allowed there. Second ABC chopped the tape to make it sound like it was done this week and was a response from Delay on what has happened this week in court. Sean Hannity would have been proud.
