3. At least three major psychics said "NOT." And they all said by year end..
...two before that (June-September).

But they ARE just psychics. Who knows...

21. Astrologically
Things get pretty dicey for him during June and July. If Junior is goin' down, that's when it will start and it will be the end result of events he initiated in October and November......so my money is on Votergate.

4. Not unless something shocking happens in 2006.
And even then (if Democrats regain control of Congress) it would only be 50/50.

With the lock on the government the Republicans have now there is nearly zero chance.

I noticed things were great for me in the 90's. I could do no wrong and all the luck in the world seemed to be on my side. About 1998 (Lewinsky story broke), things started to seem like I could do absolutely no right. People I knew and loved started acting funny and saying things that they never would have said before, like racist comments and pro right wing comments. It seemed to come in a wave much like a shitstorm. It has been steadily going downhill ever since. I figure about the time I bottom out and admit defeat, then all of a sudden hit an upswing with my luck at about the same time as a presidential election, the country will get another democratic president. Hey, I know it sounds crazy, but it is exactly how things work for me. Right now, I am trying way too hard to crawl out of the doldrums and everything seems to be going wrong. I figure in 2 years things will either get better or worse.

Right now, I can't tell which way it'll go, but the village idiot isn't through torturing us yet. And the religionists like Falwell haven't gotten to that level of fat and lazy (above their norm) yet. I'm talking about that cockiness and pride they seem to have once they've tested the waters. Once they get total and complete control for about 2 or 3 years, things will start to swing back in our direction, because people will get tired of that shit super fast. That'll be the key to the whole thing.

They follow a pattern. They seem to say crazy things like the Falwell/Robertson blame game comment about 9/11. The public gets angry with them for it. Even the dipshit in charge right now says something to them about it. They lay low for a while and wait.

Something else prompts them to stick their feet in their mouth, they jump at the chance. No one really seems to notice. They get this look in their eyes. They say some more and then stick their foot further in. No one calls them on it.

Next thing you know, all you ever see anywhere on television will be the Falwell/Robertson types basically telling the president when he should do next. He obeys. After about 2 or 3 years of this, the public finally catches on and realizes the government is in their bedroom, workplace, home, school, church, and even their cars just a little too much. That's when things will begin to change for America: when the clueless middle gets tired of the bullshit.

For right now, I say damn the planets for aligning THIS way on me. :P

8. I would love to see him be impeached.
I think there are any number of legitimate reasons to do so. Unfortunately, I don't think its going to happen.

9. If wishes were horses beggars would ride
and if farts were daggers, they'd hang by our side.

Oh, how I'd love to see the Bush get spanked. But if he was -- wouldn't we just have Cheney up front in the driver's seat? Though I believe he and Rove run the show anyway, I don't think the pukes want it to be that plainly shown. Too honest for them. I don't think they want the straw man out of the way so that we'd see the ugly underside of their operation. They'll do anything to keep things just as they are. Imagine if we had Bush wished to the corn field and Cheney was on the air telling us all to go fuck ourselves - how long would that last?

10. If Shrub had sent in the NG, like Jeb sent the State Police, for Terri
I think he could have been facing impeachment! He didn't, and because the Fl State Police backed down to the local police, they probably saved bro Jeb too.

ShrubCo is very good at pushing the envelope to the max, but remaining just shy of breaking the law.

13. He'll finish but will be a lame duck for much of the rest of his term
He's lost so much support that congress will be afraid to support any of his policies for fear of not getting reelected.

23. Someone the other day suggested a "Recall" of an elected official?
Apparently it IS legal. Maybe "we the People" need to begin a "Recall." I'm not sure how that goes, but...

Sounds good to me.

18. I'll let you know after 2006 elections....
If we can get back some Dem. seats, 90% chance he won't finish.
If we don't get them back, I give it a 50% chance he won't finish.

19. Only two possible ways that could happen
1) Enough neocon repukes and PNAC appeasing "Democrats" thrown out in 2006.

2) Revolution.

Actually, at this point, if #1 doesn't happen, #2 probably will anyway, because there's no way this country can stand 4 more fucking years of this shit. Never mind the Patriot Act, 9-11, and Iraq, just what those goddamned fascists have done since January is enough to match the very same circumstances Jefferson raised in the Declaration of Independence.

20. Lots of leaks are springing in the "dam" for this administration.
At one point, I think things will burst wide open and totally erode the president's credibility. The press will then mercilessly turn on him and Jr's fragile ego/mental state is likely to crack. I think the major precipitating issue will be economic (stock market or dollar-related), then all the other scandals will be unveiled - Plame, Gannon, Delay, etc.

24. Many ways not to finish
In the 20th century McKinley, FDR, JFK and Nixon all had abbreviated terms, and none were impeached. Let's hope * is the first abbreviated term of the 21st century.

25. '06 we take the house... then IMPEACH.. THAT should be every DUer's goal!
This is not that hard... with the Repugs showing there true colors alot old school republicans are dismayed at bush and co. use of federal power to intrude on privacy... Outdoorsmen are worried about the enviroment... and we have new organization tools (like DU) to work with. Dean is energizing local level support which is how you win house seats! Dems won more state seats than they lost, and if you take out the illegal gerrymandering in TX, the dems WON 1 seat in the house. Look at the details.. the world isnt black and white, and the more bush pushes fascism, the more people join the fight!

Oh.. and BTW, you Impeach Chenney too, together would be great... like the 9-11 commision, and that leaves the Speaker of the House as next in line... which, if we take the house.. will be a dem.. so get to work spreading facts and talking to friends. Join a local progressive group and take action in your community!
