Fox is trotting out a man who cared for his son for 2 years in a Hospice-
they did NOT stop tube feedings "it would be inhumane"--a family does what it has to do--if you are christian you do what what comes naturelly.
Fox is using this man!! I am so angry!!

1. Isn't he glad that HE AND HIS FAMILY got to make the decision, though?
How would this man have felt if the government had stepped in and made the decision about his son?

It is immaterial to me what these families decide to do. It doesn't matter what I think or what my values are, or what I would do in their situation. The *only* thing that matters is: who gets to decide? To call one choice or another "Christian" just adds horseshit on top of all of this existing pigshit. Some people find it a waste of time, money, resources, and emotion to care for a breathing corpse; others feel compelled to eke out every last mitochondrion for a spark of life. Like I say with the abortion argument:

CHOICE.
CHOICE.
CHOICE.

2. I hope you didn't miss Juliet Huddy's slip of the tongue 10 minutes prior.
She was talking about the relationship between Michael and Terri Schiavo when she said something like "they were still in a relationship when she died...er...oops... that was a terrible thing to say..." Poor old Juliet can't escape the fact that Terri Schiavo went 15 years ago.

son's personal opinions on extraordinary measures?

And WTF does that have to do with this?

6. "what comes naturally"?
How odd that he would consider an intrusive medical procedure that was only invented about 25 years ago as being "what comes naturally".
