Remember when we used to start threads about Capital Gang?
I just realized that it's been on for twenty minutes and I haven't even considered turning it on. x( I watched that show for ten years.

2. I'm gettin' tired of watching people butt heads.
It is one of the more civil shows.

3. It's still on?
CNN has becomed so biased that I don't turn it on any more. I'd rather watch reruns on TLC. At least their reality shows are connected to reality.

4. I always used to watch that show
Haven't in quite a while though. No more CNN, just tune in if there is breaking news coming and turn it off, that's about it.

Guy James is on anyway, he's a lot better listening than those crackpots.

5. Yes I agree
I don't want to turn it on since it's nearing dinnertime and I might lose my appetite. I wouldn't mind hearing what they're talking aboaut second hand though. Can you imagine Novak with the Shiavo case?

16. same here with all TV-spews
I just flip it to catch stock market numbers or to see if there is any "real news" -- but gone are the days where I'd have it on for a few hours each day

other than the DU majority of my news sources:

Watching America http://www.watchingamerica.com/

Buzzflash http://buzzflash.com/

Citizens for Legitamate government http://legitgov.org/index.html#breaking_news

Truthout http://www.truthout.com/

or google the google-news, local NPR station, local papers

as far as talking-head blather shows go -- I don't watch them anymore -- the only thing missing from them are Royal Rumble cage matches... other than that it's just blather, spin, and toasting each other with kook-aid

6. CNN is all sensational fluff news now.
They don't get accused of having a liberal bias that way. Chickenshits.

Everytime I turn on CNN they're talking about the celebrity tiral du jour or Shiavo or some similar overhyped nonsense. Sometimes I'll watch Crossfire or Lou Dobbs. I used to watch Capital Gang but its on at an odd time for me.

7. CNN = Christian News Network NOW
And the old farts that show up on Capital Gang are very much an eyesore. If I could put this show in the garbage disposal and just push the button, I would. I wouldn't even bother to run the cold water!

8. The last time I clicked passed it, I was surprised to see Al Hunt sitting
in Mark Shields' spot and Mark Shields sitting in Al Hunt's spot.

9. That's weird.
If that's their idea of trying to shake things up, they need to try harder.

13. Yeah, I'm wondering what's up with that
I really don't have anything against Al Hunt, but I didn't see anything wrong with Mark Shields, and his voice is a lot more pleasant than Al Hunt's is.

They all seemed to be on the same page tonight. I decided to do some cooking instead of watching anymore.

15. I don't know why I still watch that show.
Kate O' what's-her-face drives me out of my mind. If there was a "George Bush is a serial killer" topic, she'd defend the guy till her last breath. Last night Margaret Carlson pissed me off, too, because she thinks Michael Schiavo should hand over Terri to the parents, totally disregarding Terri's wishes. And Novak . . . you just know how that went.
