Kennedy vs. Chaffee next year?
-snip-

Rep. Patrick Kennedy is considering a run against Sen. Lincoln Chafee for the only congressional seat held by a Republican in heavily Democratic Rhode Island. The mere prospect of such a matchup next year has set tongues in motion.

12. I don't think it was Robert Jr.
Wasn't it Michael, the one who died a couple of years ago, when he smashed into a tree, that got caught with the babysitter?

14. Miachael KENNEDY???
I don't remember a Michael Kennedy. Robert Kenneday Jr did have a little fling with the babysitter about 5 or 6 years ago. It was all of the news, mainly because of his father and JFK!

Doesn't anyone else remember this. If not, GREAT, maybe the world has forgotten.

3. little patrick just wants more press than Langevin
Patrick will not risk losing his house seat. He'll patiently wait for daddy to retire then run for the Mass Senate seat. Then RI will be rid of that pandering, money hungry screaming little ego.

The only reason why he gets my vote every two years is because the local Repubs keep running clowns that think they are in Kansas against him.
Dangerous Assholes like Mike Battles, now up on fraud chargesrelated to the Iraq war (google that name).

Chaffee no longer has my vote since his votes on ANWAR and Bankruptcy, so I'll trust Langevin despite his "pro-life" stance, when he says he would never vote to make abortion illegal.

9. Is this 41-27 poll for real?
A Brown University poll taken before Langevin dropped out showed him leading Chafee, 41 percent to 27 percent.

I find this hard to believe, but it's excellent news if Chafee's re-elect numbers are even near 27% in a blue state.
