This man does not represent the Pro Life movement, I believe you are mistaken.
However, people who would LOVE to destroy the pro-Life movement, or discredit it (an old communist trick, nazis even tried it in Germany) by attaching such a goon to the movement, or trying to stoke the fire on the internet, what not. Glad you aren't indulging in this yourself and joining all of us and are making every effort to separate this guy from the Movement to make it 100% pristine and blameless. Liberals and pro-Culture of Death people will LOVE this.

To: muawiyah Sure people can change - however, I suppose that when it comes right down to it, we as conservatives have to expect higher standards when it comes to who represents us.
I mean, Randall Terry has obviously reprented for his adulterous indiscretions, but to have him out, representing us and demanding that others live up to his moral code, it smacks of hypocrisy...
Same with this guy - sure, he's found Christ and has, probably, been forgiven. However, to have him out and about in the media pointing out the evil in others, well, it makes us all look like "Do as I say, not as I do".
Does that make any sense whatsoever to you?

To: Just mythoughts This is very funny. The same crowd that is 'shocked, ("yes, we're shocked") at all of the the wild-eyed, accusations thrown by those bumble-headed Terri supporters now do the same, and throw stones like mad at this guy. Now who are the self righteous pharisee types? "Hello Pot, it's Kettle here..."
I think it's quite admirable how this guy has turned his life around for the past 13 years.

To: Brian Mosely; Dane Okay, that was when he was 19.. if he was born in 1973, he is 32 now.
13 years have passed since.
So let me get this straight. This guy was a pro-murder, leftist evolutionist before jail, until he became a Christian; and now because he believes Life is precious, he also believes Terri Shiavo should be allowed a chance at it instead of being forcibly dehydrated and starved to death.
And his son just happens to be the boy who was arrested for trying to take Terri water.
Maybe someone can explain to me what I'm "supposed" to be outraged about.

To: DaughterOfAnIwoJimaVet Call me silly, but when I was 19 I wasn't asking for birth certificates from every chick I met at a college party. This has certainly become a CYA society.

To: Miss Marple "I hope everyone on this thread will please calm down, and think about this for a minute. ANY highly publicized case is going to attract a lot of people, some with unsavory backgrounds. I will bet there are a fair number of weirdos in that crowd around the hospice, just as there were weirdos in the Diana mourners, the anti-war demonstrations, the anti-Iraq demonstrations, etc. etc."
Miss Marple, I totally agree with you. The motivation for posting this story is what I object to, because the intent was to SMEAR.

I'm not outraged either. He obviously changed his collegiate deathocrat ways and is speaking out against Terri's forced starvation and dehydration.

To: Dane I think it's safe to say most if not all of us here don't know the man personally, so none of us knows his motivations. As he is on the side of helping Terri, and since he's found Christ, I'd err on the side of his being well-intentioned.
