I guess Larry King is coing to of course milk the Schiavo thing to the last drop with a 3 hour special with feedback from cnn.com ( http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form5o.html?10 ). Let's give them a nice slam of email that focuses this debate where it really should be - the separation of powers as dictated by the US Constitution. Here is my feedback to them:

This was a travesty. Not the case itself, but how the media and politicians handled it. First of all, the media completely ignored the polls that said 80% of the people think the government shouldve butted out from the start. Despite this, they give voice to the people who think there is some 'divide' in this country over this issue. 80-20%???Thats not a divide - that is a FAR right minority with big mouths. This was a non-issue from the start. Then we hear people say the courts ignored the congress. Never is it pointed out that the courts ignored congress because the law they passed was BLATENTLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL. We need to give this minority 20% a lesson in American Government, as well as all senators who voted in favor of the bill. Thank you Mrs. Schiavo for waking this country up. Bless you and may you FINALLY rest in PEACE.

CNN and all of its programming in the United States of Jesus is irrelevant, and becoming more obvious every day. While I have no sympathy for those who spew hate and mis-conceptions, and am patient enough to allow them to reap what they have sown, the damage done to the innocent minds by the likes of 'media', such as you opitomize is criminal.

You're having a three hour show... on what exactly?

On how you can prostitute the sad tragedy of a young woman's death for higher ratings?

Do you read your own polls? Do you not realize that the majority of Americans actually respect the Constitution, value the rule of law and separation of church and state, and want no interference in their 'end of life' issues?

I am at a loss to understand how this sad story ever made it to a national news story. Every day, scores of people go through what Terri and her family have gone through, including the 'guardianship' battles. Yet, we do not see right wing Christians amassing outside other hospices, or hospitals, slandering the husbands and wives inside as 'murderers', and holding prayer vigils!

Here's a thought: Why don't you spend three hours discussing why we invaded a country, without provocation and under false pretenses, and how we can prevent our soldiers from coming home in the same state as Terri Shiavo. The number of seriously wounded, brain damaged soldiers grows by the day, and we CAN do something about that.

I need to speak my mind to these fools. What the hell is the number? I havent seen it shown yet.

This case has not polarized the nation, as much as the Cable News outlets have tried to create that appearance.

Eighty/twenty is not dividing the nation, except into the rational and the hysterical, into Americans and the theocrats.

This is a good divide. The exposure that the religious right is a small minority who wish to impose their own narrow view of christianity on the majority by force of law may be the single best thing to come out of this.

And "news" organizations which try to distort that reality out of fear of the GOP and the Religious Right will further discredit themselves.
