Am I Missing Something, or is it Really This Bad?
Edited on Fri Apr-01-05 10:38 AM by RaulGroom
Direct Quote from Google News' Search Engine:

Your search - sanchez memo source:washington_post - did not match any documents.

The New York Times ran one news story on this on March 29th and has not mentioned it since.

The Washington Times <---------- Yes, THAT Washington Times, has far outpaced the Post and the New York Times in their coverage of this scandal.

What is going on? Has our media been taken over by pod people? I mean, I've had no illusions about our pampered press corpse for years, but I never would have predicted this. Never.

To recap, a Lt. General in the U.S. Army specifically authorized illegal tactics for which ENLISTED PERSONNEL ARE CURRENTLY SERVING LONG PRISON TERMS.

Shouldn't there, be, like, some kind of, I dunno, investigation or whatever?

3. If you are searching for articles re:
Sanchez Memo in the Washinton Post - then 'goggle' it this way (no need for the underline between washington and post). I just found 56,400 links.

5. With respect, your search is irrelevant
I'm talking about Google News. You're searching webpages. The underscore is part of the news syntax. Your search is turning up 56,000 irrelevant websites.

You can get the same result from Washington Post's own search engine. Perhaps I'm wrong - can someone show me one single article the Post has run on this scandal?

4. I try and not use Google anymore. Yahoo has a good search engine
and there are a lot of others that are very good as well. Google has been politicized and is no longer efficient.
