DeLay, Santorum, Randall Terry and the end of democracy.
The lunatics are in charge of the asylum. One would think that our president, our courts, or some other government entity would protect us from these maniacs who really believe they can say and do whatever they want to.

Well, our president is too busy clearing brush, our judges don't have any power, (beyond that given to them by the Constitution), and congressional and state Dems are studying up on the life cycles of lemmings.

DeLay's threat to judges today was a stick of dynamite thrown into a powder keg. The son-of-a-bitch should be tried and then locked up for life.

Regarding Santorum, there's either something wrong with the water in Pennsylvania, or Diebold is counting all the votes.

And Randall Terry is a terrorist who has published the names of doctors who perform abortions and then drawn lines through their names as they were murdered.

Any sane, rational, democratic government would have taken steps to protect us from these Jesus-freak wingnuts. The problem is that these lunatics and their ilk (with the exception of Randall Terry) are our current government.

Assuming our brush-clearer in chief doesn't blow up the world in the next four years, will these people (including the brush clearer and the vice brush clearer) ever be held responsible for anything in a court of law? Let's face it: if democracy in this country isn't dead, it's on life support.

3. And Frank Lautenberg sent Delay a letter reminding him of the
laws he broke threatening judges or inciting others to threaten judges.

7. I'm sure DeLay is quacking in his boots.
Imagine that. A letter telling him he broke the law.

If the Republicans retain control of both the house and senate after the 2006 elections, this country will have more than earned the fate of joining all the other dictatorships that have been flushed into the ratholes of history.

And if that sounds like a pissed off rant, it is.

5. Symbiotic relationship.
The wingnuts are the foot-soldiers of the handmaidens to the Oligarchs.

They are all working together for the overthrow of democracy. They are like jackals who circle each other and hiss, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."

8. The Constitutional crisis
that started with the 2000 election and that the TV pundits kept denying was happening may soon be obvious enough and undeniable enough to be noticed by the judiciary. Tho Supreme Court has only themselves to blame if the judicial system is now being called to task by an arrogant congressman who does not understand the words "separation of power." The question now is whether it is too late to save our system of government.

Also, I wonder if Delay's attack on the judiciary is the beginning of a more general attack on the structure of our government. In other words, in attacking the American judiciary, is Delay attacking our constitutional system, specifically the grant of power to the judiciary as one of three equal branches of government? Is Delay calling for "the downfall of the American government"? Just asking. . . .
