Happy Anniversary Air America Radio!

I never in the past listen to radio - until I found AAR. I started with Malloy, then on to Majority Report, and Randi. Guy James is also awesome.

I find it 'way cool' that Senators Boxer, Kerry, Barrack, and other very important Dems in our House and other organizations have called in and voiced their congrats to AAR. (Sorry, I simply forgot the names of who else called in).

I think Air America Radio is so important to us and our country.

Just an observation - whenever you listen to Fox and other 'conservative' talk/news hosts - all they do is argue with each other and stomp all over everyones conversation. I personally hate that. On the other hand, Liberal hosts have the courtesy to partake in 'conversation' with their guests and wait to hear what they have to say.

Anyway, thanks Air America Radio.

For our sanity, and voice, and that road or rhoades that leads us to a giggle.

I was listening to AAR online, until a radio station in Memphis FINALLY had the guts to start carrying it...it's an oasis of progressive thought in a town dominated by Clear Channel (7-yes, you heard right-SEVEN radio stations either towing the right wing line, or being muzzled from speaking against the right; the R&B station they have being the PRIME example).

It's a good feeling knowing that there's a forum where someone can make fun of the Limbaughs, Hannitys, and Savages-those clowns like to dish it out-let's see them TAKE it for a change!

P.S. Randi Rhodes is a hottie! :headbang:

The folks on Air America are my friends - never meet them, but I feel I know each one of them.

They, too, are heroes to our Democratic America.

The hosts come off as very personable and give you respect if you give them respect; act like a jerk and they'll give you likewise before cutting you off (I've heard Randi and Mike Malloy jack up smart-ass dittoheads, and it AIN'T pretty).

Very different tone from the snarling condescension of Michael "I'm a vitamin-pushing, wannabe singing, self-hating Jew" Savage or the blustery condescension of Rush "I'm a pill-popping, doctor-shopping, serial-marrying, weight-like-Oprah-fluctuating hypocrite" Limbaugh...

when here, I have to listen to WCKY up in Cincinnati, at night, when the signal is strongest. Some of the DUers in the 'Nati also should put pressure on the program director there to put Randi's show on live, instead of tape delaying it.
