Poll question: AWARENESS check.. The 2004 election... what do you believe?
I am saddened by the fact that we still have millions of Dem's in denial, let alone the millions more brainwashed by fox and co. Facts are slowly trickling out.. and I believe the Schiavo case has helped many more see the 2 streams of info America is being fed. So.. what do you believe? Exit polls? diebolds?

1. I honestly don't know who won, and it's irrelevant at this point
Unless some insider comes forward saying it was rigged, the 2004 election is a done deal. Bush took office and nothing is going to change that.

All efforts at voting reform must about the future and not the past. At the grassroots level there is no need for this to be a partisan issue.

11. how can it be irrelevant, if they stole the election
aDN THE people voted kerry in. and bush is sitting in the office. and we continue with this crookedness, adn we are never able to get the person in office that was voted for..............how can that be irrelevant. i can see giving money to the democratic party, or putting the time and effort into winning being irrelevant, without machines that will count votes though

18. ITs EXTREMELY important we publicly acknowledge the rigged election..
Edited on Mon Apr-04-05 01:32 PM by Griffy
Because we wont get a fair election till then.. The level of fraud has grown from 2000... to 2002 with GA especially, and then the big show, 2004. Multiple states, padding bush to give him popular vote to go with the electoral vote he had rigged in OH FL and others. I would be SHOCKED, if after all the lies and deception that bush has committed, if bush didnt cheat!

2. This is the MOST important issue of our lifetime...
Why in the world people aren't taking to the streets against BBV and the media is beyond me.

Every other issue pales in comparison, because ALL other issues in the U.S. depend on the integrity of these two issues: our votes and our media.

But the biggest of these is the vote.

4. They flipped 3 million votes from Kerry to Bush
When they flipped 3 million, they stole 6 million. Why else would the republican party have bought the few companies that make the machines? Kerry picked up more 2000 Bush supporters than Bush picked up 2000 Gore supporters, and the new voters went to Kerry about 3-2. There is now way Bush could have won. He is a two-time loser in presidential elections.

7. What do you BELIEVE.. what really happened would require an investigation
Edited on Sat Apr-02-05 03:00 PM by Griffy
which won't happen until enough Americans believe that some serious level of fraud happened. What is it you dont know?... Look at the facts on your own.. talk to other people.. ask question.. but dont think its in the past.. because its in our future too.. if we do not expose the illegal election, they will do it again and again, that I promise!

9. WHAT do you know.. ?
Do you know who made the machines?

Do you know what happened on the night of the 2nd.. the timeline of events?

Do you know what the exit polls said at different times, and the reasons we were given?

Do you know what happened in Ohio?

....

There are some facts we can be sure of and agree on...

.. what dont you know?...

You go first. List everything you know, and everything you don't know. After you completed that list, I'll go.

16. It's like alot of other things Bush has done...
You just KNOW it's crooked. For example, we know he lied about WMD's, but we can't PROVE it.

15. Unfortunately Bush won...
Frankly I still have not seen any evidence of fraud that is sufficiently compelling to call the overall result of the election into question.

There may well have been some people in OH who threw in the towel and decided not to vote because of the long lines, but I doubt there would be enough of them to have turned the outcome of the election around.

Bush's overall vote increase came mostly from an increasing margin in solidly red states (OK grew from 22 to 31%, TN from 4-14%, AL from 15-22%) or a shrinking margin in solidly blue states (the Dem margin in CA shrank from 11.8% to 9.95%; in IL from 12-10.3, in NY from 25-18.3%). There would be no need for high level Republican fraud in places like Utah (you're going to win anyway, why risk scandal?) and probably little opportunity in NY. The electoral results in most of the swing states-- with the exception of FL (and I think that fraud investigations should be concentrated there)--were all very close to the results of the 2000 election. Kerry actually did better in Ohio than Gore. He also won a majority of the (commonly labeled) swing state electoral votes However that wasn't enough to overcome the fact that more states voted for W.

While I understand that a lot of liberals can't (or won't) fathom that many millions of American actually voted for W off their own free will and volition (it's hard for me too folks) we do ourselves a great disservice if we refuse to accept that reality.

17. Agree.. you cant accept reality.. bush cheated..
Edited on Sun Apr-03-05 08:17 PM by Griffy
There is plenty of evidence.. my question to you.. is what evidence you have that bush won? Is it the same evidence of WMD's and Saddam ties to 9-11? I am truly interested in what leads you to your belief?

I agree many states were close to what we thought.. but EVERYWHERE electronic machines were.. the bush swing was outside the margin.. statistic DO show patterns.. look deeper!

As a thought.. look at the Schiavo case, it clearly showed the 2 streams of info being fed to Americans.. some people thought Terri was aware, or in a coma.. at the same time Micheal Schiavo was made out to be a murderer... and that was on purpose... propaganda lies designed to push their agenda... like bush won.. lies! ...

or try this.. http://100777.com/node/576 clear picture of the propaganda machine that have planted ideas to further the war... dont think they dont use these techniques on all issues. They are crooks, and I would be shocked if after all they did they would play fair in the election!

again.. whats your evidence bush won?

19. Systematic skim of 3%
I think that is how they did it by saying he won the popular vote and they sold it to fed up dems and ardent thugs.
