Sen James Inhoffe (R-Oklahoma) speaking on China
Speaking now (CSPAN2) is saber rattling about Chinese economic influence over "our" oil in Venezuala and east asia.

"This is a direct threat" "The chinese are using overt polical influence". "String of pearls strategy...to create a military corridor impervious to an American embargo". "Building a blue water navy"......

A copy of his speech available in Thomas tomorrow will be an interesting read.

1. How did all of our oil get under all that sand? Now we
have to wonder the same thing about Venezuela.
:sarcasm:

3. Using overt political influence?
That's what we've been doing for 100 years. Correction...we used overt political, diplomatic, banking, intelligence, and military influence.

You can tell that Inhoffe is a policy leader in our destructive international strategy, not just a front man...like Norm.

Don't accept the propaganda. Stand up to propaganda.
Stand up to war mongering. Don't settle for war and imperialism.

I think they're panicking = few are buying the strategy and more and more are understanding it. Too much has been revealed - their operative secrets are out.

How do we get from here to peace and fair, responsible, prosperous trade without some Repub led disasters?
