Honey, There's a Senate Candidate in our Shower...

I don't mind Casey, but the other guy, Pennacio sounds like a better progressive candidate. I'm wondering what others think of him. Is he really not a viable candidate for Pennsylvania?

1. If he's not Casey and he's a dem, I'll vote for him
just as long as he's not anti-abortion like Casey and Rick the Dick

3. Casey is the anti-Santorum
Pennacio would be the better Democratic choice, but Casey is well-known, well-funded, and will drain a HUGE number of anti-abortion votes from Santorum.

Before anyone go ranting that Casey is the reincarnation of Adolph Hitler, his conservaatism is limited to sexual issues, he has been slow to get involved in them anyway, and will have less of a chance to do so as a new Senator. Admittedly, it's a fault, but Rick Santorum is extremely powerful. Getting him out of power would put this far above a "lesser-of-two-evils" bargain.

Bob Casey is well worth a second look.

4. I know all that....
and I know Casey is already ahead of Santorum in the polls. It's just sad to have a good candidate, like Pennacio seems to be, go to waste. I'm fine with Casey, and I can't say I'm incredibly upset that he's pro-life/anti-choice. If we want to be a big tent party, we can't exclude pro-life/anti-choice candidates. I just think Pennacio sounds very good...
