Left Coast non-Malloy fans, check him out tonight! Big fun
Mike Malloy began tonight with the apparent dings in the Bush beyond-Teflon presidency (45% approval rating in polls announced today) and Repug leader Tom Delay (hung out to dry by other Repugs, as reported on the Drudge-!- Report).

Bush's approval rating is the lowest of any president at this point in a second term since WWII.

He's in a great mood, he's funny, as some light appears at the end of the tunnel. Even if you don't listen to Mike much, tonight's gonna be a good un.

6. IMO "asshole" shouldn't be bleeped by the FCC
It's a very specific word, with a specific meaning when used properly. It has no good synonyms.

13. Randi played it today and "asshole" wasn't bleeped but she hadn't
heard the audio so I don't think she knew it was coming.

However, tonight on the TV show The Shield on cable they said "asshole" so, I don't know, I guess it is an OK word to use now.

Just curious. :shrug:

I usually turn off after Ed Schultz...just something
about tape delay radio...although I love Randi et al.

12. On the darkest nights, he's spot-on timely (if delayed)
The night of the "Inauguration" speech, he began with that awful, shameless heartbreaking spectacle made of the parents of a soldier killed in Bush's Iraq war. And the touching moment of an embrace between the mother and the Iraqi woman in front of her, who had been introduced by Bush-- and who turned out to be a plant with a bogus story told for the cameras.

MM has his thumb on the zeitgeist. AA is great-- he is the supreme humanitarian.
