Humbled Republicans offer retractions in Schiavo memo case
Yes, Republicans have been so shamed by all the hateful things they said about Democrats forging that memo that they have been prompted today to offer up sincere apologies and regrets.

Here they are:

Rush Limbaugh -----

Powerlineblog -----

Tucker Carlson -----

3. Rush just said the left-wing MSM was coordinating a campaign
against DeLay and that the MSM never reports on all of Harry Reid's misdeeds. (I'm paraphrasing here.) He went on to say that the MSM was only concerned about the strength of the allegations and not the truthfulness of the evidence.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH!

4. "the strength of the allegations and not the truthfulness of
the evidence?"

I know that I did not get much sleep, but that makes no sense to me. Anyone else?

8. It didn't make sense to me either.
Rush is desperately trying to cover up his previous comments on the matter by going off on a tangent about the "left wing mainstream media." He didn't mention a single Democrat except Reid.

5. I think I saw on CNN that Martinez said he was to take full responsibility
Edited on Thu Apr-07-05 12:51 PM by JohnnyRingo
...Then he blamed a senior aid who had "tendered his resignation".

It seems Mel was in the dark on this(?)

Full Responsibility? He's gonna have to try harder than that.

6. It boggles my mind
that a segment of our society would think that someone has to do something to make republicans look bad. They do a fine job on their own.
