Jon Stewart - neocons use Pope's death for political gain - (VIDEO)
April 7, 2005



On the April 7th Daily Show, John Stewart points out how Bush and many other Republicans are using the Pope's death for political gain.

There is also a short rant by Lewis Black that has a funny Mel Gibson punchline.

Mel Gibson faxing his comments to the "Shiavo" family from a shrimp restaurant and blaming the judge (of course) - what a travesty. Perfect comeback: They showed a faux magazine cover with the purported title of Mel's 'new movie":

Very satisfying to watch JS call bullshit, bullshit - wonderful part on the Bush administration trying to spin the pope's views to match their own when they don't match at all.

Thank you. I'll recommend this hoping that other people can see and enjoy it too. (My Mac under OS 10.3.8 ran it perfectly.)
