Am I the only person who has this gut uncomfortable feeling
that something is going to happen so shrub will have a third term? I just feel uncomfortable, he has all his men aligned, the World Bank. United Nations, his men are everyone. I am so uncomfortable. Don't tell me the people won't stand for this, the people elected this idiot twice. Something is not right.....I really believe he wants to be a dictator, all the signs seem to be there.

9. The rest of the world has no say
I don't think this is funny or anything to take lightly, They are all neocons in his administration. Say what you want, I am actually damn worried about the future for our children or grandchildren. I never ever believed years ago we would have the fears today that we are experiencing. Laugh at me if you want, but I am uncomfortable.

Between seeing Robert Kennedy Jr. give this speech on FSTV:

and then this show:

About plans for the Militarization of Space

On top of all my research about mercury - I'm pretty convinced that our country is ruled by corporations, polluted beyond repair with nobody seriously doing anything that will change the course.

I didn't mean to be flip - I just think they are smarter than to do anything that might get people to actually revolt. But it's not impossible that they could pull it off with the propaganda machine that they have going.

There will be a world war if * declares himself dictator, and we will lose it. We're not so strong that we can fight a massive multi-pronged war by ourselves, and we will be by ourselves. * has alienated literally everyone in the entire world.

6. Not at this rate.
By 2006, the mood of this nation will be universally dark. His enablers will not be able to show their faces. Protests will be a regular occurrence and seen nightly. Repuke candidates will be furiously trying to revise their histories.

Tom DeLay is just the dress rehersal.

I was born in the 50s. I was aware in the 70s. I have heard this tune before and I know the words, all too well.

15. No that will not happen. What they will do is just open up the
arms trade again with bunker busters and all. That way the American Empire has great hegemony. And they don't have to take care of all the people. They don't want the little people (or even the middle class). So they will never take over the whole world. Though with Karl..you never know.

Wolfowitz is there to remake his image & to make sure that nobody, but nobody in the third world nationalizes anything. That and making sure nobody has enough start up money for universal health care.

You know... 'norms'. Because of course the neocons are the smartest people in the world and nobody else but them should rule.

Iraq went well - don't you think? I mean Rummy took his beautiful neocon perceptions and whittled down the invasion plan to 150,000 troops from 400,000. And then they didn't have enough men to secure the peace. And of course.. those are not fireworks we see in Iraq..those are car bombs. And then Rummy blames it all on Turkey.

So - these people think they are the only ones with the answers. And yup.. if 250 Million people plan on controlling about 5.75 Billion other people...perhaps the neocons do have the right tactics to do that. BECAUSE IT IS CRAZY!

20. Hitler was going to rule the world using the same tactics
He failed. Some reason for hope. But what Bush wishes to be is corporate world king, where he rules all to best profit the corporations. He has moved his people into key slots where they can partnership with corporate globalists and run the planet as one big corporation. Oh, they are one and the same.

Our family can't get a Canadian sponsor to sponsor us although we do have some guaranteed income regardless even if we couldn't get jobs or got sick and couldn't work. The Canadians are placing their immigration rules into place, far stricter than they used to be. The unrest is Mexico is unsettling.

We may be stuck here to see the elimination of the working class and this country turned into a banana republic. The elite is now working on developing a strong caste system and saying it's fine to do so. One thing they can't call themselves is Christians, they are not. Pope JP II pointed out that it is indeed our responsibility to take care of the needy. This will bite them in their face.

23. No no no no - not at all. Don't you see? If they run the US economy
into the ground then it will not matter that he is no longer in power. Harsh measures will have to be instituted and America will be forced to give up its generous social programs.

They have corporate power.. but they just need a few more years of same old, same old that they have been doing and America's hands will be tied. It will not have a civil manufacturing base.. it will be only military. And then there is no longer any choice.

You have gone too far my friend. Bush will not be in office one day longer than he should be.

They do not want responsibility for all the people of the world. They just want countries to have to give an really special welcome to all corporations. Since that is where all the jobs will be.

The nightmare is not that they will invade Europe. Yuk! They hate Europeans. The nightmare will be that the Europeans will have to open their universal health care to private corporations and will loose government ability to make it all universal.

What will happen will be much less middle class. People will be beholden to their corporate bosses. Sort of the opposite as the 1950s and 1960s where the corporations had to be good citizens. If Bush gets all his SS and shit through.. citizens will have to be good 'corporatists'. That will be the expectation.

Nothing like Hitler in that regard. Don't worry about that.

The model of particular corporations in America are very.. used to geopolitical crap. And they are Utopians. Like kids in a candy store. Reality has already caught up to them. They are seen more and more everywhere for the big hypocrites that they are. For the elitism they truly only represent.

Hitler would have continuously murder millions if he had not been stopped.

These guys are not after murder (though Bush policies on Birth control in Africa are just about the same thing). These guys are after a new creation myth for the USA.. around the world.

Nobody is buying it.

If Bush gets in for another four years or uses another one of his failures and lets a strike on our nation happen so he could declare martial law, I (and I'm sure millions with me) would march on Washington DC and let them know that we still have the spirit of the first American Revolutionaries and will not stop until they are hanging from trees on the White House lawn. Then we draw and quarter them. Then we feed their remains to rats.

Why do you think they passed that thingy about not needing a quorum to run the government in the case of a disaster?

Follow the money. Everything they've done in establishing their power drive is tending towards a facsist dictatorship. No one sets up a dictatorship for anyone but themselves.

I have no desire to wager, because for me to win, the country would lose.

However, I still think this will happen....in some way, Bush will still be president after 2008, either by abolishing the two term limit, or the country coming under martial law.

Mainly because the neocon agenda (I hope) will not be fully realized by 2008.

The Resluglicans have to maintain the illusion of following the most basic laws, such as the 2 term limit. 53. So who would you say is running the show? We need to
educate people to know their enemies! Otherwise, we won't know who to fight.

to remain in place for the possible win of their chosen replacements. Bush can't run again but he can hand pick his successor. Then he would just continue with the current idiocy.

edit for this interesting tidbit on another thread:
Former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) will spend two days in New Hampshire next week to meet editorial boards and conservative activists, convincing several of his former House colleagues that he will run for the presidency in 2008.

59. Jim Jeffords thinks the Bushies will start a war in Iran...
to get Jeb into office for the purpose of furthering their agenda. He's a Senator for crying out loud, and he has come right out and said he believes this is their plan. So in answer to the original poster, no, I don't think George Bush will get a third term. But if the Bushies have their way, Jeb Bush will take his place. And since the Bushies are really just another version of the Mafia, this should not be considered out of the realm of possibility.

Here’s the link to the thread I posted the other day containing his remarks. It is scary stuff: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=132&topic_id=1713124

well let me be cautious on that. let me say that bush won't have a third term, but he will probably help his henchmen steal the next election.
