On top of all my research about mercury - I'm pretty convinced that our country is ruled by corporations, polluted beyond repair with nobody seriously doing anything that will change the course.

I didn't mean to be flip - I just think they are smarter than to do anything that might get people to actually revolt. But it's not impossible that they could pull it off with the propaganda machine that they have going.

Then we draw and quarter them. Then we feed their remains to rats.

On the other hand, he might very well pave the way for Jeb. No matter what they say, I wouldn't write him off. So, you'd essentially have the same effect. They don't even have to go to the trouble to change the law.
