Not even a mention of Moore. I think the big deal is a purely faux phenomenon.

2. The whole debate was Faux
There were virtually no informative questions asked during the entire debate. Faux accomplished exactly what it set out to do: it tested the Republican attacks on the candidates, invited candidates to take pot-shots at each other (which even Lieberman resisted doing, for once), and gathered intelligence for Rove.

What really surprised me was that Jennings participated as fully as Brit Hume in pursuing Rove's objectives. Jennings lost my respect tonight, not so much for the Michael Moore question as for the whole pattern of questions he asked. Not one of them was intended to help voters decide among the candidates.

either. If I remember correctly, he said that a lot of people see * as AWOL. Not those exact words, but that's what he meant.

13. What I liked was that
he defended Moore's right to free speech. It is up to Bush to respond to Moore, not Clark. That is what stuck in Faux's craw, that Clark didn't treat Bush as the second coming of Saint Ronald like they expected him to.

Clark sure convinced Faux he is a Dem last night! Look for Faux attacks on Clark to escalate--and serve to discredit Faux in the eyes of their viewers.
