What's with the UN support of Bolton we seem to hear bits
and pieces of in news? Who at the UN is endorsing his appointment? I thought Bolton said something about Kofi Anan supporting him during his testimony before the Senate committee? If that is true, is the * administration blackmailing Anan? Something is really stinky here. What organization would be rushing to gain a representative who is actively seeking its demise?

1. Out of the 191 member states there's got to be one. Wanna guess?

3. The Saudis aren't Shrub's Best Friends
The only people who seem to like this Administration's foreign policy more than Mr. Sharon are the scattered inhabitants of the Marshall Islands and Palau. The Marshall Islands are almost entirely dependent upon revenues from American personnel who work at the U.S. Pacific nuclear test range, and most of the 20,000 Palauans subsist off of handouts from Washington.

"In 2002, Kuwait was the Arab nation that voted with the United States most often, and that was on only 26.5 percent of the resolutions. The other Arab countries, including allies Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt, voted against the United States 80 percent of the time or more. As a group, in 2002, the Arab states voted against the United States on 83.4 percent of the resolutions. By contrast, Israel has consisstently been America's top UN ally. Israel voted with the U.S. 92.6 percent of the time in 2002, behind only Palau and the Marshall Islands, and outpacing the support levels of major U.S. allies such as Great Britain, France and Canada by more than 30 percent." cites US State Dept. http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/myths/mf13.html#h

Under the Likud Gov't, Israel has become the Middle East version of Kwajalein Atoll, host of the Ronald Reagan Missile Test Site. Mr. Bolton seems determined to separate the US even further from all but its closest "friends".
