There's a new on-line procedure and form available for consumers to file complaints with the Federal Communications Commission. This form is primarily focused on phone-related issues, but it can be used for filing complaints about alleged broadcasts of indecency or obscenity.
Rosemary Kimball, director of media relations for the FCC's consumer and govt relations branch, tells Billboard Radio Monitor: "There is no special indecency complaint form. People can use the new Form 475 or any of the other processes for filing a complaint outlined in the fact sheet that the link takes them to. We encourage people to read the fact sheet on indecency and to follow those guidelines for filing indecency compalints."
