1. It's Friday. Some shows "lighten up" on Friday.

Edited to add:

Remember Unfiltered's Party Machine in the third hour on Fridays?

4. Jerry Springer is rocking today
This is a fun show. And you know what? It's just what I needed. This has been such a horribly depressing week, that I don't think I could have taken the usual "ain't-it-awful". I'm just frankly sick of it.

Jerry Springer is doing a terrific job. His show just went from being almost-my-favorite on AAR to my favorite.

6. I have to agree
His foolishness is taking away from the valuble time that could be used in educating the public.I knew it was only a matter of time.

7. Folks, it's just the last half-hour or so of the show
He had RFK, Jr. on earlier and got into some very good stuff on ANWAR and Cheney's energy bill.

He's just having a Springer moment now.

8. Still, I had it on outside while working in the garden. I was
embarrassed to think my neighbors would hear this silliness. Again, it wasn't that bad, just too silly for me.

11. It's not my cup of tea either, but --
-- it's also not the first bit of "humor" I've heard on AAR that didn't do much for me. Nothing's perfect, as they say. :)

15. Haven't heard it (or much of Springer yet), but about AAR humor...
I've been enjoying Mark Maron on Morning Sedition a lot of the time, precisely because he is a wisecracking jackass who'll do most anything for a laugh. It's fun in small doses.

16. Morning Sedition has grown on me
But, I have to say, the Dream Diary bit irritates me to no end -- probably because it reminds me of a friend who always launches into telling me their most recent (and inevitably long, long) dream without checking first to see whether I'm interested or not. :)

Come on, it is Friday so he used the last hour of his show to have some fun and in my opinion it was amusing. What is wrong with that?

I really don't understand why so many of you have a problem with Springer, he is a very bright Democrat.

Glad others here enjoyed it :)

18. I didn't hear the show....
but I just wanted to say that I love Jerry and don't understand why some won't give the guy a chance. It really is a good thing to have him out there for us...it is. He's a good guy. Look past the horrid TV trash show....He's a good guy aside from that. Check out his personal story. He's smart and his heart really is in the right place.

12. Just the name 'Springer' discredits AAR terribly. What are they thinking?
Admittedly, humor can be very political. I'm finding the drive time show 'Morning Sedition' has fabulous humor bits that are politically devastating and they have great guests. Today it was former war correspondent Chris Hedges, author of 'War is a Force That Gives Us Meaning', talking about the Dominionist Christo-Fascist movement using Justice Sunday to organize their hate.
