The next terror attack will be next spring

We've got to prepare ourselves. We are now in the position polittaly that we were in the summer of 2001. All these gains could be lost indeed with just a simple act of terror. We have to know what to do politically so they can't use it to consolodate their power

are beginning to feel that this was all for nothing. A second terrorist attack would expose the weakness of this current administration and its inability to secure defense of our country. After 300+ billion spent on the war on terror, people are not going to buy the hype a second time, not even for Jeb.

What will happen, rioting, widespread looting, curfews, calls by states for the National Guard to restore order. Increasing financial failure of the middle class WHO could no longer PAY their taxes.

Failure of the real estate market which will lead to foreclosures with BANKS holding mortgages on properties with plummeting value. This failure would result in a gigantic loss of REVENUE since real estate is the life blood of local governments everywhere. So the
local governments would be clamoring for more FEDERAL money to help with these issues. MONEY would have to be diverted AWAY from Corporate sweet heart deals and TAX CUTS for the wealthy elite into
general revenue.

Especially if nukes or biological agents are used, which is surely what KKKarl and Cheney have in mind (Bu$h is too stupid to manage these types of things)

Thats when we'll start to see privatized "security" firms like Blackwater take over, they will come out of the woodwork - and people will wonder "Who are these people that are patrolling our streets? They're not from the military, or the national guard"...

The donut, the tax base of this country will be gone, we would only have a domestic situation that would be the twin of Iraq in the USA, with 50% unemployment, and no utilities unless the army would provide, people would lead marginal existence with (thousands dying from malnutrition & disease.) Then we would still have to maintain the war in Iraq where the insurgents grow stronger every day. The government cannot maintain this type of scenario. The US would have no credibility in the world and would not be able to pay its IOU's.

How low can Fox go that they are even discussing what some astrologer thinks? Pluto is up Uranus so it's time for all of us to duck and cover. :crazy:

I'll tell you something. If I was one of the guys in charge of making these things happen, manipulating the country and the world, this would be so easy to pull on the strings.

Can you imagine the chaos if somebody were to attack a Yankees/Sox game? An attack on baseball? On the YANKEES?

An attack on the National Cathedral? (I thought we weren't supposed to establish...)

An American Idol taping? And Fox has exclusive rights to everything, since it happened on their channel?

With everything going on now, if this happened, the Republicans would have even more incentive to say how those damn dirty Democrats are holding up the progress of the government.

Yes, I am a little conspiracy-nuttish today.

I felt there was a strong possibility of this happening 2 months ago, but things have changed. Something is in the wind, hard line republicans are jumping ship, there has been republican support for an ethics investigation into DeLay, Bolton's nomination was held
up, states are suing the FEDS to get out No Child Left Behind obligations. I think these things are a signs of something else at work which will benefit the country in the long run.

Get something to distract from DeLay
Get something to distract from the market
Get something to distract from Social Security
Get something to distract from Bolton
Get something to distract from Rice actively trying to piss off Russia so we can get back to cold war spending and build up.

HOW MANY people have you heard since the fall campaign - obediently rattling off the party line: "well, have we been attacked since then (9/11, Iraqi invasion, the war in Afghanistan)?" "We haven't been attacked (since bush got tough and went and kicked their butts)." "Well, there haven't been any further attacks, have there? (since OUR boy proved you go kick their butts and put 'em in their places. They're skeeeeeered of us now... we showed 'em who's boss!)."

And don't forget the lovely, talented, and ever-popular "HE'S keeping us SAFE!"

Another terrorist strike on our shores - ON bUSH'S WATCH - could just be precisely what we need to throw back in their faces - "um, yeah, how's that working for ya, 'eh?" Or "yeah, we kicked their butts alright and showed 'em who's boss. Look what happened." Or "hmm, we got tough with 'em alright. We got rid of Saddam. Well, THAT didn't work out so well, did it?" Or "uh, YEAH, he's got them terrorists on the run, alright. Look what they just did." Or "um, tell me again HOW he's keeping us safe?"

Don't misinterpret, please. I hope and pray and beg God that we do not have another terrorist strike - EVER. In fact, my prayer is that NOBODY has any further terrorist strikes, if you really wanna know. But if there is one, we HAVE to be prepared to use it to our advantage.
