Poll question: Who is the most electable of the best leaders? 2008 - President
Edited on Sat Apr-23-05 03:49 PM by genius
The records of the Senators indicate that they best of them has voted Democrat only two more times than Republican in 2005. However, there are a number of House members with perfect voting records for 2005. These are Grijalva, Hastings (Fl), Kucinich, Lee, Lewis (GA), Markey,McKinney,Owens,Pallone, Payne, Schakowsky, Waters and Woolsey. As there are 13, it'll take two polls to cover all the names. After the first poll, I'll drop the leaders with the lowest poll results and add in the last three from the list. Then I'll narrow it down from the winners.

2. By perfect voting record...
Do you mean voting on all issues, or voting against Republicans on all issues?

I just want to understand the definition of perfect voting.

4. My vote for Lewis was a bit unfair because I live in Ga. but not in his
district. I like him and the way he deals with issues with logic. I guess your poll should cover people who are up for re-election in 2006, just to see who seems to be re=electable.

I'd love to see a similar national poll to see, on both sides, who is in trouble and who isn't. I don't want to help the enemy, but it sure would be nice to see all the different positions!

6. They are all up for re-election in 2006.
We need to chose the best this time for the 2008 Presidential race rather than telling everyone they will have to settle for less than the best.

7. OH, I have no problem saying chose the BEST!!!
If you are suggesting that any on that list was a presidential candidate, I guess I'd have to laugh!!!! I though waht we were after was to increase Democrat Power in both houses. Some say that time is the only thing that gains poser, but I disagree. Hillary has a lot of power, but is a first term Senator! Obama has power and is a first term congressman.

I could give you a list of people who I think are Strong Leaders in the House & Senate. It's those we need to look at to make sure they're doing what you want! If they aren't, make sure we all contact the people in the local campaigns NOW, to make sure we have candidates who will support our views!!!!!
