Stand by -- Lou Dobbs about to cough up another Bush hairball
Edited on Mon Apr-25-05 05:45 PM by Atman
He just did a promo for his next story -- "How improved test scores improved the lives of the students from..."

Watch out...first we heard about the great success happening in the Middle East, as narrated by the Heritage Foundation and The American Enterprise Institute. Now I have a feeling we're about to get a NCLB success story.

(BTW, my first real CNN-viewing in since Schiavo.)

1. An NCLB success story?
Has anyone audited Dobbs' bank statements lately?

2. Dobbs is a protectionist ass..
People think he's great because he has one correct position...NAFTA...other than that, his bread is buttered by Repukes

3. I have to respectfully disagree on that..
Lou Dobbs is a protectionist, but unlike the Repukes, he is also against illegal immigration (check out his "Broken Borders" segments), against outsourcing ("Outsourcing America" segment), and he doesn't mince words when nailing down those in corporate America and Washington who are for those things.

I think he comes from the position that what is good for the average working American is automatically going to benefit American business. Wal-Mart is a favorite target of his when pointing out how the direction corporate America is taking is ruining our economy, and he does feature small businesses that refuse to outsource; the little guy does get a chance to air his views-think he's going to get that on Wolf Blitzer's show, or on Fox?
