Chimp taking TX university bids for his library
Yeah.."largest ever"...he'll need a 50 floor "library" JUST to store his declarations of WAR/INVASION paperwork...and a single bookshelf for the one book he has actually read.

The Prez's Big Texas College Tour
Insiders say President Bush will be asking Texas colleges this summer for proposals to build his presidential library and museum. Two schools are expected to compete: Southern Methodist University in Dallas and Waco's Baylor University. It'll be a big task: Bush's collection of documents could be the largest ever.

The friggin shrub clan gets kicked out of the WH... which will be when (at this rate) the twins' great-great-great grandkids are in office...we'll all be living like the Jetsons and on the moon...with the news headlines reading "Diebold expects voting booths to provide receipts to voters by Election Day 3008".

5. I understand it is a strange process.
In actuality, the universities are bidding to have it located at a place other than their campus. The losing bid will get the uncoveted * library. What self respecting school would want it?

13. Sad thing is that Baylor and SMU are fighting for this "honor"
I am sad to see that Baylor and SMU are both fighting for this honor. SMU has a block of prime space on campus that is being held for a potential library. Both Pickles and Karen Hughes went to SMU. Baylor has a great deal of open land available for a library.

17. A Library? With Books ?
Edited on Mon Apr-25-05 08:49 PM by Danmel
Without pictures? Nah.

You know, Ronald Reagan once famously recalled that none of the schools he had attended as a child had a library. While I wouldn't doubt that, at least Reagan had an excuse. What's Shrubs?
