Anybody still believe that there's no difference between Bush and Gore?
I just watched his speech and I can tell you that I sure as hell don't.

Hey Ralph, you were DEAD WRONG.

3. We all knew Saint Ralph was wrong
He's gone back into his post-election coma. He'll be waking up soon and resuming bashing the Democrats momentarily.

4. Now? No.
Then? It wasn't quite so clear cut. (thanks to Gore's campaign strategists...)

I should clarify that even then for an informed observer it was very clear that Gore was better, I just wish Gore had made it easier for the general populace to see.

Nader knows that's not true, he was just trying to scrape out a niche to fill.

6. Gore has distanced himself from the DLC
Gore has distanced himself from the DLC and in many ways there is no difference between the DLC and Bu$h.

If Gore was in office, I know that gas prices would not be over $2.00 a gallon nationwide because he would have pushed alternative energy and started building the infrastructure the nation needs to survive a post-carbon economy.

7. I just watched him too. He was great.
someone would have had to translate for Bush

one thing he said that no one else has said, that needed to be said

It is no accident that this assault on the integrity of our constitutional design has been fueled by a small group claiming special knowledge of God's will in American politics. They even claim that those of us who disagree with their point of view are waging war against "people of faith." How dare they?

"Long before our founders met in Philadelphia, their forebears first came to these shores to escape oppression at the hands of despots in the old world who mixed religion with politics and claimed dominion over both their pocketbooks and their souls.

This aggressive new strain of right-wing religious zealotry is actually a throwback to the intolerance that led to the creation of America in the first place."

9. Nader didn't say what you're claiming he did.
He stated that the republican and democratic parties were similar in nature to the point that there was little difference.

12. That's true, but somewhat more valid.
Certainly the republican and democratic parties are beholden to big business, special interests.

Certainly, the democratic party didn't say boo when Bush made the run up to war.

There's still no universal health care.

We still endorse capital punnishment (until recently, for minors)

The list goes on, but I'm sure the reasonable among us don't need me to enumerate further.
