4. Rumors of someone cashing in on the $25 million reward?
bin Laden's probably been on ice this whole time. Just forcing him to make statements once in a while to look good for ratings purposes.

cover his pitch live. He and Gen. Myers said nothing newsworthy. They just stood there talking about how "underfunded" the Pentagon is!!!!! Kinda funny that the media falls for this old trick.

14. I'll bet there's no bombshell - that's just to drum up viewers - the topic
is supposed to be obstructionist democrats who are holding up all the positive changes to be made.

I heard it will include SS, fillibuster, DeLay and Bolton! All of the issues we're beating him on - so it's time for him to explain to all his friends out there just why he is right and Dems are wrong again.

This man refuses to give in on anything -- which is what may finally do him in. (PLEASE!)

15. Here you go: Bush to Host Primetime News Conference
Bush to Host Primetime News Conference
1 hour, 20 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - President Bush chose prime time for a nationally broadcast news conference Thursday to push anew for restructuring Social Security and to discuss high gas prices.

The news conference — the president's first in the evening since the start of his second term — was scheduled for 8:30 p.m. EDT in the East Room. The White House asked television networks to broadcast the question-and-answer session.

Bush's news conference comes as he and administration officials conclude travel around the country to pitch their Social Security overhaul ideas to Americans, his press secretary, Scott McClellan, noted Wednesday.

He said the president was ready to make a 10- to 12-minute opening statement in which Bush would "talk in more specific ways" about his ideas for achieving a bipartisan solution to Social Security's future solvency problems.

16. Though it's always painful to listen to the chimp's whining....
there is always the probability of a huge gaffe, revealing his stupidity to the wider public. Though the sheeple seem to somehow find it endearing to have a moron for a president...

17. They pulled this same shit during the Presidential campaign...
Kerry had a big speech, then Bush would claim he had an even bigger one the next day(some big surprise to attract attention). It all turned out to be the same shit he was saying on the road.

The media is right to fall for it, but irresponsible when they don't call him on it.

18. Bushit
Dubya and Ahnuld use the same playbook--"taking their agenda to the people". I say, Bring It On! Go ahead, get on national TV in prime time, and whine about every issue where you're losing.
Then do a ratings poll.

20. "Feeding bullshit to 'Merka is hard work..."
He is going to complain that the democrats won't let him have his nominations. He is going to say that the economy is fucked because of the A-Rabs and their oil prices. He is going to tell us that he is spreading "freedom" throughout the world and Iraq is an example of what can happen with "hard work". He is also going to say some shit about social security that he knows nothing about.

I will not watch him because I do not like being insulted by his bullshit. Also, everytime he opens his trap it is bad news for somebody.

23. They'd be crowing if they caught OBL
and they'd get it on the air before the markets closed today. Have you seen the stock markets today? They are reacting to the crappy economy the Bushies have been denying. Believe me, if they had happy news like OBL capture, they'd whip it out. Anything to make Wall St. look better so that the SS-scam would sell easier.
