1. It is interesting Republicans using code words to tell us
Al Franken is a New York Jew. Isn't the current Senator Norm Coleman, and isn't he a former from New York Jew ??? His cousin Sid, the New York Jew sportscaster on the morning MSNBC Imus show (who just got out of rehab for crack cocaine and gambling).. So what is the big deal ????? You can be Jewish if you are Repub...thats OK, but not if you are a Democrat?..

2. The guy who said it...
...is presumably also Jewish. Minnesota Republican Party chairman Ron Eibensteiner. I don't understand it.

I am certain that "Jew" is implicit in the "New York City" and "elite" code words, although Eibensteiner and friends would deny it...

Perhaps the message is that Republicans are fine with a Jewish party chairman, but as far as sending somebody to Washington to actually represent the state? Hold on there!

Or perhaps I'm just being shrill.

What do you think?

3. MN had two other Jewish Senators: Wellstone (D) and Boschwitz (R)
Those guys, however, didn't CHANGE THEIR NAMES or their parties, like Norm Coleman has. He also changes the weight of his accent, depending on his audience. The man is as phony as his new teeth.

7. I don't know - but heard Al Franken say this a long time ago on his
show...something like Coleman changed his name to sound less Jewish...

Sorry - I googled and found nothing to verify my comment. I'll inquire at Air America.

6. Coleman is a thug...
or a punk...I can never decide which term describes him better.
