They are only as successful as we are divided. They need our division.
I know there are many here that have issues with some of the choices of our leaders. Much of it is probably justified.

However, keep in mind, the more unified we are and focused we are as a true "United States of citizens", the weaker those who are abusing their power become. That is a given.

There is no doubt we have issues with some of our Democratic leaders. However, we have much larger issues with those calling themselves Republicans and those who abuse their power and privelege on a daily, if not hourly basis.

Our Democratic leaders are not perfect and yes, even some Democrats are connected with the corporate oligarchy. Right now we are dealing with a priority situation. It is vital we place our focus and direction on those who are creating the MOST harm and damage to our nation, our livelihoods and our Democracy. Those individuals who are doing the harm are those who are leading the Republican party. I don't believe they are true Republicans, they seem to be using the party more than anything.

Many if not most of our Democratic leaders are doing their best. Many even if you disagree with them on issues, are doing a good job and are trying very hard. Governor Dean, Barbara Boxer, John Conyers, Teddy Kennedy, Barbara Lee, Cynthia McKinney, and others need our support and our help. They can better do their job if they know we are there for them. We can have issue with various issues, particularly if it deals with any present caution in responding to the election fraud and our core freedoms being stipped with laws like the Patriot Act, and we need to let them know especially on the 'five alarm' issues that there are places we will draw the line and they should as well. These are acute issues that once removed, will be next to impossible to regain. That is why they are so important.

With that said, I believe it boils down to this. The more we work together on the issues like demanding transparent, fair and ACCURATE elections, along with maintaining and demanding our Civil Liberties not be stolen from us by power abusers, the greater power we have in implementing fair elections again and maintaining our rights, which are VITAL in providing us the means to eliminate the bad leadership and the corporate domination that is bringing such harm to our present as well as our future.

Right now we need to pick our battles wisely and effectively. I personally believe the top issues are voter reform and our Civil Liberties, because without these fundamental rights, our actions will be pretty obsolete. I believe we must also continue to better inform other friends, family and citizens about the situations that remain unanswered like 9/11 and of course the invasion of Iraq which continue to revolve around this Administration.

We have a lot to do, but we need to work together as teams and build better structure and organized local coalitions so we can more effectively influence positive change. We need to establish local groups that specifically work on certain 'five alarm' issues. If we fine tune our focus, get more involved and informed and connected to state and local leaders, those in Washington will begin to take us more seriously.

Let's focus on how to best create change and channel our anger where it is best directed. At those who are creating the most damage and harm to the country and the world at large.
