Did you SEE HIM???? Listening to his earpiece again?????
Edited on Thu Apr-28-05 10:47 PM by AmBlue
Right after Suzanne Malveaux's question, he fumbled, froze, gazed downward, but not at his notes!! He went completely silent mid-sentence for a few seconds, as if he was listening hard to something inaudible to the rest of us, then in a very nervous-jerky way resumed speaking.

It also looked as if his back was padded when he walked away from the podium. The suit he wore tonight didn't fit at all like his other ones. Did you all see it??? Can anyone post vid clips???

1. Did he get that gizmo called the noiseless sound? Sounds like it is
tailor made for him.

4. I noticed it at one point and jumped out of my seat it was so obvious
It may be the time you're talking about. I'm hoping to see the video online and catch it. Moreover, I swear I *heard* something weird at that moment. I know that's tinfoilish but it's true.

7. Thank you!!!
I was having a hard time staying awake, but when he *did it* it was so obvious it really caught my attention. I replayed it a bunch of times.... Not a doubt in my mind, the man had an earpiece.

8. Do you know how to get that clip online?
Or is the whole event already uploaded someplace? You're right that it was in answer to Suzanne Malveaux.

9. I've got it TiVO'd, but it's not networked with the puter....
Maybe if this thing can get a few kicks someone who can get the clips will post.

Watch when he walks away from the podium, as well...

Edited to say: That was in response to Amblue's OP. We need to capture that moment in online video. It was SO obvious.

Between questions? He seemed to lean forward, then there was a cutaway and a buzz sound?

Anybody hear that?

15. If you imagine somebody talking into his ear...
then I find it lends itseld to understanding his behavior.

Otherwise, the fractured speech is inexplicable....

17. Remember somebody posted about directed sound?
Someone was freaked thinking it would be used for mind control.

That's what he's using, if he's using a listening device.

They're pointing a beam of sound at his head, and nobody can hear it but him. That's why he leans around, to hear the coaching which is probably at ear level.

19. Not quite right....
His earpiece would use an inductive coil around his shoulder/waist, the eletromagnetic field from this can cause feedback on a microphone... if you get tooo close.

18. What about the lower jaw movement??
Anybody notice that. He occasionally moves his lower jaw during his frequent pauses.

I always think he's waiting for an answer to come in his earpiece when he does that.

21. Ok... just looked at it again
Just as he freezes, his lower jaw "quivers" a bit. There is also some rhythmic slight buzzing during the silence, but I noticed it at other times too.

22. I thought it was obvious.
The pausing mid-sentence combined with the eyes suddenly darting downward. I also thought I saw the infamous bulge in his suit coat when the camera angle changed momentarily to a side shot.

23. First from Syria then From Lebanon
That correction was bizarre, when he said Mr. Larson was from Syria, then he said he was from Lebanon two sentences later.

It just makes sense that somebody corrected him midstream.
