Background, quotes, votes, controversies... just some information about these people for DUers. This is just barebones information... Feel free to add...

Arizona: Sen. Jon Kyl.
- Elected: 1994.
- Serves on the Senate Finance and Judiciary Committees.
- Member of Senate Republican Leadership.

Indiana: Sen. Richard Lugar.
- Elected: 1976.
- Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Maine: Sen. Olympia Snowe.
- Elected: 1994.
- Serves on the Senate Finance and Intelligence Committees.

Maryland: Michael Steele.
- Lt. Gov. of Maryland.

Minnesota: Rep. Mark Kennedy.
- MN-06. Elected: 2000.
- Serves on the House Financial Services and Transportation Committees.

Mississippi: Sen. Trent Lott.
- Elected: 1988.
- Former Senate Majority Leader. Chairman, Senate Committee on Rules and Administration. Member of Senate Finance, Intelligence, and Commerce Committees.

Missouri: Sen. Jim Talent.
- Elected: 2002.

1. These are just the confirmed candidates
There are quite a few seats where the Republicans don't have a confirmed candidate, yet. Please post potential or announced candidates that I forgot, as well as information about the above candidates.
