Okay...You've Convinced Me....Wes Clark is THE 2008 Candidate.
This guy is so "squeeky clean" that NO ONE can EVER find a flaw in his smooth skin. NO ONE can ever use Jane Fonda or "Swify Boat Liars" against him. He is NOT CONFLICTED. There are no "females lusting after his Bod (like Billy Clinton) and his wife is his total commitment and his judgements as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in Kosovo and elsewhere have been unchallenged.

Thank Gawd Ahmighty...we Dems FINALLY FOUND our TRUE CANDIDATE.

A big :toast: to you all who have polled and posted mightily. You didn't quite make it for 2004... because we picked what we did...but YOU
ALL SAW THE LIGHT...and you've worked tirelessly for your candidate since then.

Let's go with WES CLARK...He's Invincible...lets run him through to 2008.

He's gonna make it...and if all the polls and posts on DU are correct he will manage to "overide the Diebold, Sequoia, ESS, and Unilect Voting Machines that will be in Place due to HAVA ACT and States ramming through the those wonderful "Touch Screen Paperless Trail Machines" so that by 2008...THOSE MACHINES will be the norm, and Jane Fonda might have died of a stroke (being so old by then) and "Swift Boat/DeLay will be "exterminated by their own hand."

So FULL SPEED AHEAD. With "Wes/ It's BEST!"

Hat's off to ya! :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast: :

23. Well last year there was a big push for McCain for VP for Kerry...
:D So if Hagel runs maybe there will be a big Dem scramble about whether he's better than Clark... Many DU posts and Will Pitt will write some good commentary on it.

24. As someone who's lived in Nebraska for 15 years,
I can quite unreservedly state that Hagel is not better than Clark.

Clark's a liberal; Hagel is not. Regardless of his occasional knock at the Bush administration, Hagel is still very much a conservative.

27. It's absolutely amazing how discombobulated some people
can get over some silly little poll cooked up in the bowels of an obscure Gore forum.

I wish people would just chill out about '08. We've got a good two years before it's time to start really worrying about it.

14. No matter who it is, dems and progessives need to stop shooting eachother
And start aiming at the other guy. So Hillary, Wes, Jk, JE, Boxer...just accept and work for any of them. And aim your ire at the thug running against them.

Please, I know I'll get flamed for saying this, but no matter what happened in November last year and no matter how ticked you were at Kerry, the republicans stick together like super glue and that's why they win.

So...please don't attack dems which could later come back to haunt us.

29. Nicely done
Of course this is that rare instance where satire and the greater truth merge into one seamless and irrefutable whole, lol.

I also hear that the Bush twins have started bloging for Clark under fake names and that Gerald Ford and Ross Perot asked Wes to run in 2008 for the good of the nation. Also that Sharon has secretly indicated that he is willing to allow a Palestinian State with East Jerusalem as it's capital, but only if Clark becomes President.

So you see, you got it right!
