Dems Push Healthcare, MSM Pushes Everything But
You got to just love the way the MSM keeps changing the message everytime the Dems try to do something.... :eyes:

The House Dems will be outlining a healthcare agenda tomorrow, so what’s the MSM been doing the past few days leading up to this, they are talking National Security. It’s not that National Security isn’t important, but every time the Dems bring up an issue the MSM is spinning something to detract from it.

John Kerry is on the road this week, pushing healthcare with his Kids First Plan and what’s the buzz tonight in the headlines on Faux News the biggest perpetuator of the Republican Noise Machine? Bolton’s Good Side... Stretched Thin... Oh and the Runaway Bride is still making headlines everywhere!

House Democrats intend to outline a health care agenda Wednesday that would bring millions of low-income working parents under an existing government program while giving uninsured Americans age 55 and older the ability to buy coverage through Medicare.

1. Who the hell cares about that damn bride
Like nobody's ever run away before. The only thing that struck me about her is how frightened she looks in the eyes. Someone else said she looked "squirrelly." That's not a bad description for that look.

I guess the Michael Jackson story wasn't enough. Or Scott Peterson. Who started this line of sensationalistic news stretching back, if I recall, to Amy Fischer and Joey Buttafucco? Or maybe it was the Manendez bros? Or OJ? When did we begin to only pay attention to the next sensationalistic story?

It was Murdoch, wasn't it? Did he start this?

4. The Right Wing has slowly built up control of the news media
This has been going on for about 20 years. Just like they slowly built up grassroots on the ground under the wire.

5. To me

it's anything to not talk about the democrats. The msm is pumping up Bush's agenda. I used to think the neocons own the media but now I think it's the Saudi's. If Bush fails the Saudi's would lose tons of money they've invested in. This is good business for them and all the oil as well. It just goes to show you that the republicans, even when in power, don't do a damn thing for people. Just corporations. The democrats are still for the people and even though they're in the minority they are still trying to get us health care. That's a big thing with people (even if it's just chlidren for now).

2. If the American Pravda wasn't talking about Runaway Bride...
they'd be re-hashing Laura Bush's stand-up routine Sunday at the press banquet...ANYTHING to keep heat off their masters Rove/Cheney/Bush.
