Yesterday's student protests at Brussels and Ghent

Yep they're doing their part!! I did a search on google and there are tons of action groups mobilizing this weekend. In the Netherlands mostly run by www.stopbush.nl

4. It was a quick in and out with a plan. BUT, it was still:
Bombs for Peace.

I thought the deaths it prevented was in real time and that we were saving some people from massacre.

I now think it was only done because they thought it could be a clean strike which it was to a certain degree.

But no one in the U.S. is doing a thing about the massacres in Darfur and other places in Africa and I believe I know why.

The military! They thought they could handle the Serbia thing by air and they didn't want to go boots down into the desert in Africa and air was impractical. Then, boots down in Afghanistan was out because the oil was in Iraq which was a more practical #1 country to take over in their plan to take the Middle East.

Therefore, everything for me is being centered on the military. They work for politics and corporations...their brass profit from politics and corporations (and if they don't profit, it is bizarre because everything they do creates profit for a few).

I believe Clinton wanted to do something, but also had to do something because of the constant assaults on his non-military history. He also had to listen to the military, but why us - why couldn't Europe take care of the problem? It didn't have to be us.

There is no rhyme or reason other than profit and ease when the military tells the admin what they can do. Well, now we know that both the oil predators and their military were wrong about Iraq.

The U.S. needs to eat some humble pie, mind our own business of jobs, hunger, crime, environment, fair dealings with other people all over the world.

I now resent all the foreign aid we have given out all these years because it obviously was a cover for screwing countries.

10. Agreed. Intervening was the right thing to do and it was brilliantly
handled by Clark.

7. No but he'll be in the Southern part of the Netherlands by end of
weekend near the city of Maastricht to vist a military cenetary. According to CNN he is deeply unpopular in the Netherlands because of his decision to go to war in Iraq -- and later because of the Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal and the indeterminate detention of terrorism suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Maastricht is very close to Vlanders where most of the protests are. Anyhow as you probably knoe Brussels is the seat of the EU, Nato etc. There is a large American community there as well. But I am sure protests wel erupr in the Neterlands as well, eventhough they're not allowed anywhere near wher * is visiting.

The rest of his schedule is Latvia on Saturday. On Sunday. Monday I'm not sure I think Georgia
