I pretty much assume that the truth is precisely 180 degrees from what they say.

Zarqwi this and terra that...its all bs to me now. I worry because its like the boy who cried wolf...when something ACTUALLY happens, we'll all be lulled into complete complacency and apathy.

1. I don't believe ANYTHING the govt. tells us anymore
I had a conversation with my step-dad and I came to the conclusion that we are from very different generations. He still believes in American Institutions, and I don't trust them for shit.

7. you are correct to distrust
There is no truth left in anything that comes out of the White House or this administration. But I don't think we are complacent or apathetic. To be aware of the complete moral bankruptcy and willingness to mislead the people is the beginning of DOING SOMETHING about it. For my part, I am trying to make sure that my neices and nephews, and all other young people that I come in contact with, get an education (or a lecture!) about how one should question one's government all the time.

9. Only a fool would believe the junta
They've stolen elections.
They lied about "no warnings" before their biggest failure (from the perspective of us serfs) in Sept 01
They lied about uranium.
They lied about WMDs
They lied about not letting weapons inspectors into Iraq.
They lied about ,,,

well you get the point.

15. I'm not a big believer in Abu Musab al-Goldstein myself.
For my money, not buying the official story is the first step toward actually knowing what the hell is going on!
