Osama's last minute appearance before the election
Just for historical perspective, has anyone documented the dates of release for Osama bin Laden's various video tapes?

It was very suspicious when, after not hearing of him or from him for a long, long time, suddenly he released a tape right before the presidential election. In hindsight, not having heard from him since, it seems even more unlikely.

Does anyone have a link to timelines of OBL statements?

1. Well, for one thing, it wasn't even Osama in that tape
Fake Osama #2 - October 2004

Fake Osama #1 - November 2001 - (a.k.a the Kandahar bootleg)

Real Osama - last American to see this guy alive was most likely the CIA station chief who paid him a visit in a Dubai hospital 2 months before the 9-11-01 attacks.

2. UBL
He's Bush's Jacob Morely, a ghost who morphs into assorted prophetic scary entities (like Zarqawi) just in the nick of time, but nobody else can see him.

My guess is that neither one of them are alive -- or maybe not even real. They're just figments of Carl Rove's sophmore English class, in which he seems to have read both Dickens and Orwell.

5. Osama a.k.a. Tim Osman was a real person, at least at one time.
...But I wouldn't at all be surprised if Hopalong Zarqawi was a complete work of fiction. There's only one picture of the guy, and it looks like a computer generated police composite sketch to me.

And what about this new "#3 Al Qaeda guy" they captured the other day? Does that guy look like he's wearing a bad mask or what? And they're calling him "Libby"?? Well how convenient is that? Libby is a terrorist, and "Libby" sounds a lot like "Liberal", so therefore (Bushlogically) liberals must be terrorists. :eyes:

And how is it that it's always the "#3 Al Qaeda guy" who gets captured. Isn't that a little like being the keyboard player for the Grateful Dead? Why would anybody want the job?

6. The message of the tape was about the election...
but al-Jazeera held the release back for several days as I recall.

Also, if you read the transcript of the tape, it's very different to what the MSM said about it (a lot of material that the MSM didn't mention or comment on).

7. News management.
The tape seems to have been held back until right up to the election to have the maximum impact (i.e. scare the voters just before they go into the polling booth).

Also the MSM didn't actually report the full content of the tape...if they had reported the full content there would have been a very different reaction (see post 3, I think this is referring to the same thing).
