Would Someone Keep a Running List of The Demo's that speak out
Edited on Tue May-10-05 08:52 AM by rhett o rick
We need to have a running list of Demo's that are willing to fight this fascist movement by speaking out publicly. I am new here so don't know the best way to do this. Would like some help.

Sen Kennedy
Sen Boxer

1. Robert Byrd's book,
"Losing America" is wonderful. He gives a behind the scenes peak at stuff you never hear about. He slams Boosh at every opportunity.

4. Robert Byrd is certainly an American hero.
And forgive me if I sound like I am picking apart nominations, but...I believe what is needed now, is not Books, but public statements. Plez tell me if I am wrong here.

2. The Nation had a great Article on Durbin
Since i dont retain as much as i should, i cant get into specs about it, but it was more or less how he's been a quiet champion of many progressive values, yet since he's not the household name that a Kennedy is, few people notice.

6. Ron Paul belongs on the list.
He definitely isn't one of us, but he even more definitely isn't one of THEM. And that's what is important right now. Sane Republicans MUST help to pull this fascist regime down, so that it can't be dismissed as "partisanship". Hell they don't even have to be sane Republicans. Bob Barr and Pat Buchanan really aren't that sane when you think about it.

When it comes to getting rid of these necon fascist traitors, I will trust an anti-neocon Republican over a PNAC appeasing "Democrat". Because we can always argue legitimate partisan differences later, once we restore a constitutional government.

5. "Would someone..." IS THE PROBLEM
You see the need and you see the advantage, it costs all of $15 bucks max these days to get a website.

Keep the list and pimp your site. Join the e-activist brigade and don't expect others to do it for you-or we're doomed.

Also, nice idea and I'd be happy to visit your site. I contribute to left leaning sites and believe in supporting them.

This isn't supposed to be an attack on you, apologies if it came out that way. But I beleive that the only way to fix this country is for us to take action where we see need.

If you need help getting a domain name and web page go to www.dotster.com or www.godaddy.com or www.networksolutions.com or any number of other sites.

I bet if you want the best companies to register with and have host your site, people on this forum would help you with any questions.

Cheers and good luck getting active!

7. I agree - You are right-on. I am very new at activism.
I have always considered myself moderate. I have never been happy with either party. I usually never voted for a major party candidate for President. Until 2000 when i saw the handwriting on the wall (in blood). I sided with the Demo's. However, i think the Demo's have lots of problems. The Party is controlled by the rich Demo establishment. For example, who is pushing Hillary?? It ain't the grassroots Demo's. I think the Demo's in Congress feel that their first priority is to keep in office which requires them to prostitute themselves to corporate America. Sorry, I got off the subject. I asked that someone else do this because I am inexperienced and may muck it up.
