The sad thing is that this idiot is having an effect.

"- From the Desk of David Horowitz -

You've been hearing about my trips to campuses across the country, and I appreciate your support as I face these difficult journies. Speaking to students who are constantly fed garbage by their professors is difficult -- and often, I'm met with resistance from students and faculty alike. Since the "pie" incident at Butler, universities have to employ additional security just to keep the young radicals at bay.

But I'm used to it. Carrying the banner of academic freedom isn't easy work. When I'm on campuses, my biggest comfort is knowing that I have an army of supporters like you making sure I can continue my important work where it matters most -- in front of students, on college campuses.

That is why I am asking you to support FrontPageMag.com and the Center for the Study of Popular Culture by making an online contribution to help me continue my campus work and continue publishing FrontPageMag.com.

Since you can't join me for my trips to college campuses, I had a video crew join me on my recent tour to show you what it's like out there. Please take a moment to view highlights of my speech by going to this link right here.

This important work is entirely funded by your support. And we're making progress. Several states are currently considering legislation promoting academic freedom in classrooms funded by your tax dollars. So please, right now, for our 2005 Membership Drive, help me continue my important work on college campuses and on FrontPageMag.com by renewing your support with a special donation of $25, $50, $100, $250, or even $500 by going to this link right now.

I know you enjoy reading FrontPageMag.com, and it's an important source for right-minded opinion. FrontPageMag.com is one of the leading news sources on the web, publishing articles from the brightest minds and clearest thinkers on today's important issues.

Your tax-deductible contribution enables us to make FPM the site it is today, chock-full of news, information, and services. Just like my campus tours, FrontPageMag.com is 100% funded by your support.

In order to continue providing these features to our readers -- as well as taking our message directly to the front lines on America's campuses -- we need your support today!

So please support FrontPageMag.com today. Thank you.

Sincerely,

David Horowitz

P.S. We are entirely supported by the generosity of loyal friends like you! The Center for the Study of Popular Culture is a 501(c)3 tax deductible organization. As such, your contribution may be all or partially tax deductible."

5. There may be a fine line here between advocating for a candidate and
a constellation of causes. I'd love to hear William Pitt go further and explain his take on this.
