I know why conservatives don't like me
- I don't hate in the name of Jesus Christ
- I don't get in a pulpit and tell you who to vote for while I'm in a tax exempt status
- I don't tell you how to live your life in a moral way and then go gamble
- I don't doctor shop for oxycontin
- I don't advocate that terrorists blow up the New York Times Building
- I don't think a woman's body is any of my business
- I have yet to find a passage in the constitution that says homosexuals can not marry one another
- I did not desert my military unit to avoid a drug test
- I have a shadow box chock full of memories of my military career which I humbly accepted from my fellow Chiefs upon my retirement. Conservatives gag on the thought that a combat zone veteran could be a very proud liberal American. Yes, they hate me with a passion. And I stoke their passion at every opportunity.

Against all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC.

2. Thanks, Chief!
The CPOs I served with were almost without exception very sensible people.
I had a conservative yell "How are you not a Republican?" when she found out I'm a Vet. Your list is how.

9. Roger that Shipmate
Oh, I know Chiefs were a pain in the ass, but that was our job. Better we be a pain in the ass then some junior officer who had to suck up to get ahead and found their path to getting ahead on the asses of Sailors, NOT MY SAILORS. Nobody fucked with my Sailors but me. Yeah, someone, please ask this crusty old fart why I'm not a republican.

Thank you for your service shipmate.

21. Would you provide some young lady
to flagellate me for my indiscretions? Or am I going to have to do it myself? I'm sure that with dobson as a resident, self-flagellation is legal in Colorado.

Isn't it great to be a "bad person" Coloradodem2005?

12. Go Hogs Go
Actually I'm a graduate of the University of Arkansas (National Champs 1994). I graduated with Sidney Moncrief and Dan, the Manster, Hampton (SuperBowl Champ, Chicago Bears), however, I think I was the only one who walked away with a degree that year (79). Got my name on the senior walk in Fayetteville (and everything). Not much of a Mississippi fan but the wife works for NASA so praise the lord we are staying for awhile. I proudly proclaim that I can and will piss off conservatives wherever I am. Terrorists in Saudi Arabia damn near killed me in 96, I really have no concern about boo-dro and his little limp dick today.

Arkansas-Alabama 1995 - Now I bet that game brings back bad memories. Bama spanked in Bama by a bunch of wild hogs.

God Bless You my fellow American.

14. Thank you my fellow American
My religious beliefs are my business. But the constitution is everone's business. I still consider myself under oath. And I could not have religious beliefs if our servicemembers did not swear to support and defend the constitution. Why is that so hard for conservatives to understand? I appreciate your kind words.

18. Thanks Toots
Isn't it totally amazing that they think we are a bunch of whiners who will not rise up in rightious indignation at their attempt to coopt the constitution?

To lurkers, note from Toots and bosshog - bring it on. Terrorists in Saudi Arabia tried but didn't kill me nine years ago in Saudi Arabia. Today, I have no fear of your teensy tiny conservative pencil dicks and your false bravado. Let me repeat, bring it on.

19. Welcome to DU Ysolde
and thank you very much for your kind post. I think we all should be free to be whatever we want to be. But when a segment of society wants to impose their thoughts and beliefs on you and me then I get angry. I think its pretty cool that I'm a liberal too. Thanks again and post away.

25. Every time I think you can't hit anything farther out of the ballpark, you
do.

Every time I think I couldn't possibly love one of your posts more, you come up with an even more lovable one.

Every time I think you couldn't possibly top yourself - that the present one is the best, you post another one just a bit later that's even better.

I salute you! I thank you for your service. I thank you for your reason and clear-sightedness.

Someone told me that when I was in the Navy. My father is a retired CPO (as I've mentioned before)and he has friends all over the world!!

BOSSHOG, as usual, your post is right on!! My father told me that he would have voted for Al Sharpton before he voted for Bush.
