I ask this question because I tend to be naiive about how this system really functions sometimes. OK, I see the American voting public having at least 3 different reactions once "fully informed", which of course has not even begun to happen yet.
Scenario #1 - The public, via Congress, reams Chimpie a new one and then tells him to sit in his corner. No impeachment, just a rough time for the Chimp in Charge. Maybe he could get a vote of censure.
Scenario #2 - A majority of the public is outraged and the Chimp is impeached. He then resigns before the Senate can try him.
Scenario #3 - A majority of the public says "So what, it's over now, past history, politicians are all crooks". The Chimp and the Repugs are unfazed.
Did I cover the possible scenarios ? What do you think ?
