Poll question: How do you define a chickenhawk?
This is a question of degree. If you support just war in general, but you've never served, are you an automatic CH? I would emphatically say no. My opinion is that only the second option applies.

9. Why leave out the non-serving Dems who supported this war?
A whole lot of Senators and Congressmen.

5. Supports the war but hasn't served
Either they think "defending" the country is worth sacrificing a life or they don't.

None of this "it's worth sacrificing someone else's life but not mine" crap.

8. #2 is nearest to my views. How about someone who has never served
yet HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE and declines to do so, all the time demeaning people in favor of peace? Take Dubya, for example. His 2 daughters are still looking for work. If he's so committed, why doesn't he convince them to enlist? Why don't they hand out enlistment forms to members of Congress? If they're too old, they can give 'em to their sons and daughters. It's only right.
