Here Is Why The Republicans Will Loose In 2006 and 2008
It seems to me to be as funny as it is self evident. They can't win. The insurmountable problem the Republicans have in the next two elections is that they won't have Bush to run. The Republican Party has turned into a cult in that it holds an individual as its focus of adoration - George. But he's not running in 2006. I doubt seriously that the Republican's will see the sort of voter turnout in 2006 they saw in 2004 but at the same time I'd bet more Democrats vote in 2006 than did in 2004. We're going to win.

Bush is not running in 2008 either. Cheney will slither away and Condi will fade like a hundred other incompetent Secretaries before her. It will be Frist. and Bill Frist is no George Bush. Jeb won't run because the nation will not stand for a dynastic system, McCain won't run because the Republicans won't support him, Frist wants it and he'll have it. The NASCAR set might vote for a rich Texan if he is plainspoken, but they won't vote for a rich Doctor who is just plain arrogant. They're going to loose.

1. Jebbie will run because he's next in line for the throne
Never underestimate the dynastic ambitions of the Bush family.

The only thing that might intervene is a sacrificial Democrat to blame all the family bungling on for four years.

Jebbie is next. You can take that to the bank.

3. Jeb will run in '12.
It'll be Frist, McCain and Giuliani in '08, neck and neck. Too close to pick a winner. A ticket of Rudy and McCain would be hard to beat. Hell, six years ago I'd have voted for them.

2.  here is hoping your right.
The only one I question is McCain, do you think it's the extreme right that wouldn't support him ? I mean they are a bunch of freakin idiots.

I wouldn't start laughing....just yet.

5. It is who counts the votes, not how they vote....
three stolen elections 2000, 2002, 2004....

And you think 2006 and 2008 will be different?

What will happen when EVERYONE votes Democrat and the 'final' tally shows that the repuks have stolen the elections again...?

6. Haven't you heard? The National Journal poll of 85 Rethug party insiders
picked George Allen as the most likely 2008 nominee. You may have noticed that Allen is trying to out do Frist with the wing nut base on the filibuster issue by saying very recently that they shold have had the showdown over the judicial filibuster months ago.

9. I think we should investigate if that man wears a "rug".....
Cause if he does, he ain't going nowhere! Or we can just put Biden up against him. At least Biden's hair doesn't come off when you pull it.

7. I hope you're right.
However, until those happy results are announced in November 2006 and 2008, I won't be able to relax.

8. I pretty much see it the same way. It is also now being openly stated that
Frist has Dobson's endorsement already. Like a mafia soldier making his bones with a hit, Frist made his bones with the feeding tube circus in Florida followed by the GodTV event the following weekend. And now, in return for the judges, Ayatollah Dobson will turn out his base in support of Frist. The best thing that could happen would be for this to be yelled long and loud from the rooftops. Neither man is attractive or sympathetic and neither man has the support of anything near a majority based on their one claim to fame, their (small 'c')'christian' bleatings. There's away too much beer out there at NASCAR Central for these two to be seen as iconic in the way the idiot boy king is viewed.

(Note: I intentionally did not use the name Schiavo in this post, except here to explain it. It is my opinion that we should not use that name as it was not the Schiavo family that brought us to where we are ... it was the theocratists, abetted by the Schindler family.)

10. Frist is a woosie boy and...
....Giuliani is nothing more than an "overnight sensation".

He knows that if he ran for president, so much would be exposed that his hero image would forever be gone.

No longer would he sport the "America's Mayor" title.

On the other hand.. what fun it would be if he ran!!!!

13. I could see that
if Jebbie doesn't run. I don't think he will honestly. Of course I could be wrong. I hope you're right though. George is the republican party's wet dream and he's about to be gone. McCain probably won't run either. So far all I've really heard of running is Frist, the guy from Mass, and Guiliani. They're not going to run Guiliani either that's for sure. They screwed him over with the whole Kerik ordeal and showed him they could give a damn about him. Unless the canidate they run has Bush's support and endorsements he won't get far and I agree with you whole heartley.
