So, If Cat-Killer Loses On The fillibuster, Then Cheney in The Presumptive
2008 Repug nominee? Since it has come out recently, that Cheney is a serious dark horse candidate for 2008?

1. I thought Cheney emphatically rejected running in 2008
Given the intensity of his comment, as I recall it, it would be very difficult for him to spin it - especially since his poll numbers are pretty much pushing single digits.....

Vampire that he is, there can't be that much blood of pure white virgins left in the country. (Of course, that could be why the administration is championing Christian youth abstinence movements. Just a thought.)

10. I don't think they could steal enough votes to make Cheney prez.
Heartless Dick is probably the most unlikeable man in the whole world.

11. The repukes will choose
another affable moron with a famous father - think George Allen, R (for racist) VA. They are definitely grooming him for this. Look at all the facetime he's been getting.

I know the chimp can't seek another term, but is there a similar rule for the VP? If not, I can see them putting Cheney right back in the number two slot so he can continue to run the show.

12. Cheney's popularity in Aug 04 among all voters was...
"Among all voters, Cheney's favorable rating has slipped from 44 percent in November 2000 to 29 percent. Over the same period, Cheney's unfavorable rating has about doubled from 18 percent to 37 percent."

From a CBS News poll found in this article from Sept. 04:

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/09/01/politics/main640058.shtml

Somehow, I don't think his numbers have gone up since this poll but, with Diebold's help, he will miraculously win the Presidency if he chooses to run.
