Saw a segment on one of the cable news shows concerning the fact that the Air Force Academy was looking into the trend against any cadets that are not "born again" Christians. Apparently, there has been discrimination against those of "other" faiths.
I've also heard that before they go out to battle they play Christian music (traditional and now day stuff) and baptize people if they wish to be baptized. Personally I find the baptizing stuff a lil insulting because I'm Christian and take my beliefs seriously. Baptizium is a step to becoming "born-again" so to speak and is one of the steps of being a follower of Christ. According to what I've heard and read about this ordeal it's a "last minute" thing which is like they're trying to save their ass spiritual wise before they die like a "just in case it's real" type of ordeal. Of course I can't judge whether or not someone really believes since I don't know their heart/soul but that's just how it looks to me.
